Mel Vincent Park — Attraction in Camarillo

I have lived next to this park for 3 years now. It's beautiful and has a large loop path around the park for walking. I walk my dog here frequently. Grass is well maintained, play apparatus looks well kept. Grass area is large for soccer or kids to run and play. There is a covered area near the play apparatus with picnic style tables as well as a few uncovered ones across the grass. Cute "gym" area as well. Dog poop bags are available as well as a few trash cans. I've never used the restrooms here.

I love that this park has items for every age the rubber Play service is great for keeping sand out of mom's shoes and the volleyball area provides sand for little ones who want to dig. There's lots of unique equipment that keep the kids busy for a long time. I didn't give a 5th star as there's no bathroom and I like to go to the park in the early morning before the heat of the day but it seems like this park gets hosed down since everything is soaking wet ach morning. I love this park, it's within walking distance from where I live and is basically new! Only drawback is if you have young kids, make sure to use the bathroom BEFORE you get there, this is the only thing that is lacking from this great park.
