This cafe has an enormous laptop problem. The coffee is wonderful, and food is limited but good (I wish they had more breakfast sandwich options, especially). I’d love to stop in, have a coffee and read the news, but often there are no seats because folks are camped out on their laptops, occupying 2 seats of table space or an entire 4-top with their laptop and bag. Ironic, for a cafe in a bookstore… A no laptop rule, or laptops only at the counters, would improve the vibe...
Read moreStopped in for a coffee and a pastry and all seems great for this new spot: The dirty chai was a good one, the pastries were tasty, the employees were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant despite every seat being full. I wasn't planning on sitting, but being able to browse around the bookstore if/when the seats are taken is a great.
Very excited to see the bookstore up and running in the new location and this cafe seems like a great addition...
Read moreThe drinks are great and the staff are very friendly, but every table is taken up by a surly Lesley student with a laptop "saving" chairs for absent friends and bringing in drinks from elsewhere. It's a shame as it would otherwise be a nice spot to grab coffee and pastries on the weekend - honestly wish maybe they'd turn off the wifi on weekends or something to free up seats for...
