So much bang for your buck. Go here. Unusual flavors that were definitely worth it.

For a Large you get about 3 scoops.

I got Matcha, Fig Cardamom, and Guava Passionfruit. *The colors are way better. The pictures don't do it justice.

Matcha: A little too tea bitter for me, and I love and drink unsweetened tea. I just am looking for a different vibe with my ice cream. However, when I took a bite of Matcha with the the Fig Cardamom, it was perfection. It amplified the Matcha! RECOMMEND- MIXED WITH FIG CARDAMOM.

Fig Cardamom: It was luscious and thick, but smooth, clear cardamom flavor without being overwhelming. I sat by a fan because I am a weirdo who likes to chew my ice cream, and I didn't want it to get soft too fast. I want a gallon of this stuff. I will return just for this. This with pie of any kind would be insane. This is a Winter/Fall staple in my mind for sure. Soooo good! RECOMMEND. GET THIS!

Guava Passionfruit: The flavor was perfect. I could taste both guava and passionfruit clearly, and the initial bite I had was smooth. However, the scoop I got had icy bits in it. There weren't any pieces of the fruit, so otherwise it is smooth and has great flavor. If it wasn't for the weird icy chunks the size of winter rock salt, it would have been perfect. Almost like I got old ice cream because it was icy? The flavor made up for it. OKAY.

Loved that it was wheelchair accessible. The back area for eating and a side front bench, so plenty of space. The back area was a bit dark, so I sat on a bench inside.

It’s so sad what’s happening here. I just returned after being away for over 20 years, excited to have my favorite ice cream. The ice cream remains fantastic, from what I can tell. The service and evidently the management, however, are sending this beloved place down a death spiral of just not caring. It’s dirty inside. Look at the cake cooler! It hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. And the service, oh my. The kids behind the counter have no business being there. They are unfriendly, unhelpful. And in the case of the girl in there, completely unknowledgeable. She’s standing there in front of the ice cream all day but doesn’t know any of the flavors by sight. She served us some other beige flavor instead of the Belgian chocolate. What? She also has zero concept of customer service and is so dim it takes like 10 minutes to get ice cream from her, even when there’s no one else in there. Oh man. Also, they had no whipped cream. Or they did, but the three containers of it in the fridge were off. We watched her sniff them and confer with her slightly more knowledgeable coworker, which, I’m not kidding, took like 7 minutes. How can Toscanini’s, who used to be famous for having real whipped cream, not have any? Then the next day we watched the guy make it and he poured at least a cup of powdered sugar into 3-4-ish cups of cream. It was so sweet it was inedible. Well, I’ll still come back cuz I love the ice cream. But if this keeps up, they will not be here when I return....

Not safe for gluten allergies! I lived a few blocks from this location and was a frequent customer for the year that I lived there. Several weeks ago I went and ordered cookies and cream ice cream. After paying I took my first bite and realized he served me cookie dough, not cookies and cream. I have a gluten allergy and had received confirmation from another employee at an earlier visit that the cookies and cream is gluten free and that Toscanini’s is very diligent about marking allergens on their menu (which I had greatly appreciated up to this point). When I asked the gentleman to replace the scoop with the correct flavor, he became very hostile with me and told me that he wouldn’t replace it because cookies and cream wasn’t gluten free either. I told him about the previous confirmation I had received from another employee, and he dismissed it saying that he knew for a fact it wasn’t gluten free. I had two other people in my party with gluten allergies, and they had both already finished their cookies and cream ice cream. After this very poor exchange and not receiving a replacement scoop, I sent an email to Toscanini’s explaining the very poor customer service and the allergen labeling concerns. I gave them several weeks to respond, but never received any note back. Customer service aside, I will not be returning to Toscanini’s because I no longer feel confident that I can know what is safe...
