I live about 30 mins from this place and seen a bunch of good reviews and decided to give a try. Went on the $1 wing night. It didnāt seem busy inside but apparently there were also orders being called in (heard the phone ring repeatedly) I totally get that. But the service we got as soon we walked in was a turn off. I walked in and went straight to the bar to ask a question and get a menu with the girl at the register. She didnāt even acknowledge me (no hi or Iāll be right with you)and I sat there for a couple minutes trying to get her attention and after not getting any response from her,I then just decided to sit down at a table. Me and my family sat at a table with no service for 20mins at least. I almost walked out never to return but my husband was the one that convinced me to stay. Finally, a different girl came to the table to ask us what we wanted and I told her we never even got a menu to look at and no one has been to our table so we donāt know. She apologized and gave us menus to look at over. We the waited another 20mins just for someone to take our order. When our food finally came out it was delicious and I was glad I stayed. Service got better after we got our food. The same girl that ignored me in the beginning came to our table to check on us 2 times and both times we said we were ok she would just turn around quickly and leave. To me and my husband it seemed like she didnāt want to be there. If it wasnāt for the lady that came to take our order, I wouldnāt have gone back. She saved the day and apologized for the other girl, gave my husband a drink on her and checked on us to make sure we truly were doing ok and didnāt need anything else. The environment was chill and the food was good but I donāt see myself going back any time soon bc of the bad service we got on our first time. Especially when I live so far from this place and we have something similar close to home. Hoping the next visit will be better when and if I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent on a Tuesday night around 7. They have $1 wing night on Tuesdays. We tried a variety of things. Everything is made to order so there is a bit of a wait for your food, but its well worth it! We started with the half and half appetizer with fried mushrooms and cheddar peppers, served with ranch and marinara. Both were tasty. We also had the jalapeno pesto fries, which was fries served with a jalapeno pesto dip. The dip was really good! For entrees we had a pizza with everything on it. It was thin and crispy, and had a really nice crust that's handmade! This was one of the best pizzas we've eaten in a long time! We also got the Stuffed Shells pasta that came with garlic bread, and we ordered 2 different flavors of wings. Last but not least, we had the fried Brussels sprouts. I'm a big fan of fried Brussels and these were really good! While we dined at the bar, the bartender Beth was trying a new cocktail recipe (potentially for the Christmas season), that everyone was raving about, so I tried one too. It was pretty tasty! They have 2 pool tables, 2 electronic dart machines, video game machines, and plenty of tv's, jumbo jenga, cornhole, and an outside patio area with picnic tables. They have trivia on Thursdays, and karaoke on Fridays. We recently moved to Cameron, and this could def be a regular spot for us. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience wasnāt great. Called the number and was told it was the place, but not the number to call for delivery; Handed me to someone else. I placed my order. I drove all the way there, only to get to the front door and see cash only sign. So I had to go all the way back and again to get cash. Then had to wait while someone placed an order it took them forever to enter into the system. There appears to be one register only. So by now my food has been sitting a good 40 minutes. I take my food home. All three of us in my household tried it and not one of us was impressed. Iām sorry, I REALLY wanted to like the food because our selection in town is so slim. I just didnāt. We could not taste ricotta at all in the calzone, pizza was lackluster and the Philly cheesesteak no one could eat. It was soggy, bland and with very little meat. We donāt drink alcohol, so sadly this will be a no for me. I wish the food had been better. Iām weary of going to Temple for food.. just keep...
