A new Chinese buffet in Cameron! Hope springs eternal! As a new place to eat, they're trying, and improving! Note: This is the second time we came - much improvement! Cleanliness: as far as I noticed, it looked clean, and tables were bussed quickly on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly at a clean table and drinks came very soon after the person who seated us took our drink order. Buffet: trays were filled with a variety of tasty-looking food and steam coming from the table promised warm-to-hot choices. It looked promising. The food I selected was much warmer than the first time, some even as hot as off a menu. Barbecue chicken had great flavor, and though there were some fatty pieces, I found lots of lean ones. The advantage of a buffet. The General Tso's Chicken was very tasty and nicely spiced. Half-shell oysters were a disappointment this time. Not sure why, but the flavor was better first trip. and there was a crab dish that was also nice. Crab Rangoon was good too, generous filling, and the thick wrapper at the top was like a crisp cracker. Dessert choices were not plentiful, and trays of those little square cakes have never been my favorites. I had scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream (yummy!). The scoops for the ice cream, though, were a little hard to use. One suggestion, hard pack ice cream needs to be pushed down from the sides once in a while to keep it from crystalizing. The price was still a bit high for an afternoon meal, but for a good Chinese buffet, cheerful attentive service, and without a long drive, definitely worth it. They have definitely improved since our first trip. We'll be back.

I ordered carry out for dinner from here and it was quite good. I had the orange chicken with fried rice and crab rangoons with sweet and sour sauce to dip and all items were very tasty. Additionally, the portion sizes far exceeded my expectations - I ate about half and was stuffed. I look forward to eating the leftovers as a late-night snack. All items were made fresh and were prepared to the appropriate temperature. The consistency was good- not too chewy or too mushy. The rangoons had just the right amount of crunch on the edges and the center contained a perfect amount cream cheese. They paired wonderfully with the warm sweet and sour sauce. The orange chicken was slightly crispy which was a perfect balance to the zesty orange sauce. It was not very spicy at all although the menu indicates otherwise. However, I wouldn’t change the way it tasted at all. The location is convenient for both locals and those just passing through. It sits just a block off the highway and less than half a mile off I-35. The restaurant itself appears fairly new or updated on the outside. There’s plenty of parking and is handicap accessible. I only went in the front part of the restaurant because I ordered for pickup but from what I saw, it appeared clean and as nice as you’d expect of any respectable casual dining restaurant. One unique feature was the four slot machines available for play located right near the pickup counter. I thought that was pretty funny.

Best Chinese takeout I've ever had hands down! It was so good that I decided to eat my leftovers for breakfast instead of waiting until lunch! Great portion size, the picture was taken after my lunch was finished yesterday. I had the kung pa chicken. I strongly recommend it!

The food was great. The service was awesome. The atmosphere is good. Do all the chairs match no, but does it really matter, if the food is good. I'm not there to eat the chairs. We read reviews before we went. Some people were all about the furnishings not matching. It's not a five star restaurant. Everyone was friendly and they put fresh food out non-stop. It is a true buffet, all you can eat. Some people said it was expensive, but a buffet exactly the same two years ago cost 10.50 plus 3.00 if you got a drink. So with the rise in inflation on all food almost doubling, I think 14.99 plus a drink is priced as expected. Get water if it's to much. I have one thing that we wish they had done. That would be to turn the heat up a little bit. Thanks for a...
