My husband and I picked up dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. We love Topolino and miss the sit down dining experience that we haven't enjoyed due to the pandemic. We normally love the deep dish pizzas (twins) and ordered those for our children. The shrimp pizza was good but not as flavorful as in times past but the extra cheese pizza was amazing.
My husband enjoyed the steak in the past but felt it wasn't as flavorful. He thought the sauce from the mixed vegetable medley may have been the taste that affected the overall satisfaction of his steak. He used A-1 which gave it what was needed for him to enjoy his meal. He was grateful that it was prepared medium rare as requested and did not have any complaints about his steak quality or size.
I ordered the stuffed flounder and Alfredo which I was truly looking forward to enjoying. Though the dish looked amazing and was cooked well, it wasn't seasoned as well as I expected. After adding some old bay to the fish and crab stuffing, I truly enjoyed it. Most restaurants give a basic Alfredo so I wasn't expecting it to be mind blowing. I added my trusty Garlic Parmesan seasoning by Weber and it was then perfect for my palate. I would get it again but will have my additional seasonings at the ready.
I do not fault the restaurant for the lack of flavor as they have to appeal to a large audience and it is easier for people to add seasonings or salt than to take it away once prepared. The portions were large which is always a plus and gave me the ability to save some for lunch the following day. I would go back as we normally enjoy the food here and it is a wonderful restaurant in the Clinton area. The staff is normally friendly and helpful amd we have never had a...
Read moreMom and pop Italian restaurant. Well, I had the pleasure of dining here to celebrate someone's birthday recently. I brought in a large sheetcake that the restaurant held for me until it was time. The hostess was very nice and accommodating since we had no ressie for our party on the books. But unbeknown to me, Tony was already aware of the nights party. Let me just say I had not been here for about 5 years since even before covid in 2019, and this place was jumping. It still brings in the crowds and birthday celebrations, and on our evening, 4 birthdays were being celebrated. Tony our server was fantastic and got everyone's order correct. Tiny was always available to answers questions refill drinks and any other request on this very busy Monday night. The food was very good and did not disappoint. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. My salmon over sautÊed spinach with mussels and a side of spaghetti was so yummy and cooked perfectly. Even my 5 yr old nephew liked his personal pizza, and he almost never eats anything. They no longer have the daily buffet. They now have a Sunday only brunch buffet starting at 10am-3pm for $30 per person if I remember the price correctly. So I'll be back on Sunday with my family to sample the buffet eats. The only thing that's negative is the lighting. It's kinda dim but not and you'll most likely be blocking your own light depending on where you're sitting or you'll have light in front of you but not behind you to really see your menu or to check your food for hair or foreign objects. I like to see what I'm eating. Know what I mean? So if you haven't been to this mom and pop Italian neighborhood restauran, you should go try it and see if you'll...

The seafood pizza at Topolino's is a culinary masterpiece. The crust was perfectly crisp, providing a delightful contrast to the succulent seafood toppings. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the freshest shrimp beautifully complemented by a savory tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese.
