Campbell Pizza — Restaurant in Campbell

This review is only for the atmosphere, prices, and beer selection, as we decided not to order food. I was surprised to find it almost empty on a Friday evening (all tables were empty and there were a few people at the bar) which isn't a good sign walking in. From other sources online, we thought there would be a few more beers we like, but they got rid of them (ie. Allagash White and 805). I know they rotate taps, but I'm just not a fan of what they have right now. We asked which of the Weihenstephan was on tap and the bartender didn't know.

The people behind the counter were friendly and prompt, and we ordered beer while deciding what to eat. The options looked good, and they serve a variety of pizza, burgers, and sandwiches, but the prices seemed a little high for the atmosphere. I wanted to have a healthy option while sharing pizza with our friends, but didn't think the cost of adding a garden salad would be worth it. A less-expensive/add-on side salad would've been nice. In the end, we drank our beer and decided to go to another pizza place nearby.

Overall, they have a lot of potential. Having the number of taps they do is a plus, so I hope they pour some other options and advertise their current selection on their website. The tables and chairs are fine, but the atmosphere and layout could use improvement (it feels like a cafeteria). Maybe most of their business is delivery/take-out, but because they can serve so many beers they could do well as a dine-in spot. Offering combos and specials for food would be a plus, to encourage new people to try them. We may try them again, and I hope...

Horrible customer service. I tried ordering online, the website was down. I called to order over the phone, and I mentioned that I have a BOGO coupon that THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HONOR, and the guy on the phone (Jess might be his name), said they don't accept it. I said you have to accept it or else it's false advertising. He said they can't and that he would call the owner to ask about it. He was supposed to call me back and DID NOT. I called again and I asked for the manager, another guy who answered the phone said "he's not there." I said "he is there. He was supposed to call me back." They seem to cover each other's back because they don't want to accept the coupon. I called again and talked to Jess. I told him he was supposed to call me back after talking to the owner. He said he called and texted the owner but that he did not reply. I asked for the owner's name and phone number, and he said he did not have it. He JUST told me he called and texted him, unless he's lying every which way. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NOT TRY THIS RESTAURANT. HORRIBLE management and ownership. If I could give them zero stars I definitely would. I placed an order online through a vendor named Slice. I go to pick up my pizza the toppings are raw however I'm on my lunch break so I can't argue with them over the pizza. I called the company I ordered from they said we cannot authorize a refund so we will have them re-make your pizza.
