Fiesta Mexico — Restaurant in Campbellsville

The service at Fiesta has always been subpar, but I we always still went because the food was super good. I understand right now is not an awesome time for any restaurant due to COVID-19, but our very last time trying to get takeout for them they were super rude and inconsiderate. My friend and I were at home trying to place an order over the phone and could not get though because it was busy. That’s understandable for a Friday night. My boyfriend had gotten off work so he just headed over to maybe try to order from a crew member. We continue to try and get though and we cannot. We called literally 40 times. But anyways my boyfriend called one of the food runners over and he asked if he could please quickly place an order due to the fact that none of us could get through by phone, and he told my boyfriend that it was busy and to just keep calling. Completely blew him off, but we still kept trying to call and couldn’t get though. We finally did get though at 7pm and the man answering the phone told me they were closed. I tried to explain to him that my boyfriend had been waiting in the parking lot for over an hour so we could order take out and asked him if he could please just take my order still because we had been trying to get through for two hours. He didn’t care and said he didn’t know why the man running food wouldn’t take my boyfriends order. If they want to keep their business open then they should invest in multiple lines. I get that they were busy on a Friday night but they were really rude to us when all we wanted was to order some dang mexican food. I will not be ordering take out and dining in with them ever again. I like it here and I don't like it here. Really it depends on the people who are serving me that day. There is one particular waiter who has caused constant problems and very poor listening skills (like doesn't listen at all) and tried to charge for water and made it a literal issue. Apparently that offends the hostess women there because I don't want him as a waiter when she also didn't want to acknowledge where I was saying to be seated. The quality on the food will also depend on who is serving me; sometimes the food is great and other times a complete rip off, because the price stays the same even if the food will not. If you are the owner I hope you happen to read this because I've been no stranger at eating here and sometimes the inconsistency of things and people make this place no good. Went to Campbellsville this last Saturday 4/20/24. A bit out of the way but love to try different restaurants. The food and service was amazing ! We thought we found our new top 10 place. Unfortunately when we drove over an hour home my poor husband and grandson and I all were very sick. Food poisoning. It happens and I understand but when I called the place back on that Sunday the young girl answering was rude and end our conversation with “ What do you want me to do” , then hung up. We are going on Wednesday and my grandson and husband are still sick. Husband will be out from work for 3 days so far. I tried calling today but got no where.
