Taco John's — Restaurant in Canton Township

Working a 12 hour day, coming to get food here for the order to be messed up, then needing to drive all of the way back there to resolve it is never on the top of my list of things to do. The oles are NEVER seasoned. Ever. Just Lukewarm greasy potato turds. The food is only ever luke warm. The staff though friendly are unreasonable when they’ve made the wrong order, requiring you to drive back to the location to drop off the incorrect order in order to refund your money.

I’ve been a customer here for ages, and each trip there is something amiss with my order without fail. I’ve paid for sides I don’t receive, made requests for lettuce on/off without being heard. The one single time I don’t want to make it an entire fudging evening of going to and from Taco John’s, too bad.

So frustrating, you don’t stand for anything (correct orders, food sent out correctly) BUT you’re insane about making sure you get every single penny, so...

I am the infamous tomato guy. Tomatoes on top of the taco bravo. So the cheese and meat don’t get cold! lol . The regular staff is great and some new hires don’t get it. I am giving five stars because the staff always do the best. The OWNERS NEED TO DO TWO THINGS!!!! Invest in a new intercom system so Togo orders can be heard and processed better. Also update hours on google when it changes. Otherwise a good place and for locals if they mess up. They fix next time your back. Just look into your bag before you pull off. Not the most updated atmosphere and the as for the closing times well let's just say it's been 3 times now I wanted to get food there and they have been closed before there closing time as it was tonight at 8:30 pm they where closed December 22- 2016 so I have to wonder if I should ever try to get tacos at this one in Canton SD or do I drive out of my way to go all the way to Sioux Falls Sd. Have to wonder if upper management knows about it??? This is why Dairy Queen gets there business because at least they stay open till...
