This new ice cream/candy/gelato shop just opened on May 18th, 2024. We stopped in to get dessert after getting dinner nearby. They were open until 9 pm and Music on Main Street was in session. The shop is located under Lasalle's. The decor is very charming and employees were friendly; service was good. There were some seating to enjoy your treat; we took ours outside since it was nice out and the party was outside. For $5, you can fill up a box of candy; any variety and there is no weighing. They also have Avery Soda from New Britain, CT. They have dog treats and Ice cream too, however, they are not allowed inside but there are plenty of seating outside. Read moreI ordered 2 small ice creams in cups, my girlfriends ice cream was scooped by a guy and mine was scooped by a girl (who must’ve been new). Upon scooping mine it was about a quarter the size of my girlfriends (same price btw). As she was cashing us out there was a girl sitting at the counter watching (I’m assuming she also worked there) that said “you have to give them more than that” but she shrugged it off and handed it to me without adding a normal amount of ice cream.
