Papa Gyros — Restaurant in Canton

Haven't ordered from here in quite some time. Used to frequent this location, as I always preferred it (pre remodel) to the newer, Belden location's esthetic. They seemed to be fairly dead at the time I picked up my order, so I was in and out almost instantly. The girl at the counter was kind and efficient. The Gyro was... kinda unremarkable. The flavor was lacking a bit (it was supposedly one of the spicier options, so that's odd), the meat was pretty dry and cold, and the pita was on the stiff side. I understand that the drive (though only 10 minutes) will make a slight dent in temperature, but that's about the only thing that should change within that time period. That being said; I was told that it would be ready in "about 15 minutes." I was already on the block when I phoned in the order, but when I got there within 5 minutes; it was already in the window. Not a deal breaker, but it does seem like the quality has slumped. I will give them a fair shake by going again, because I really do love this...

First time customer, and I loved it! Service was awesome, very friendly and the cooks in the back were humorous as I sat and waited for my order to be done. No waiting time, no rush to order. I went and got myself a gyro platter, as it seemed they had nothing like a simple gyro alone to get. It ended up costing me nearly $11! and despite it saying it offered a "huge portion", I was skeptical. Upon ordering, they also asked if I wanted the meat seasoned. (BBQ, buffalo, or cajun) this, along with with the onion, tomato, and two pitas on the side, made for a excellent meal, and the portion for the meat was enough for me alone to eat for at least two dinners! I'll be going back again for sure, glad to have a local gyro shop while I'm down here...

Soon as you walked in the girls had the driest personality. Taking our order you had to tell her exactly what you wanted because she wasn’t going to ask what you want on your gyro or if you wanted a side. Got our cup for soda and there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the drain of the machine I’m assuming. Go to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was probably 2 buckets full of ice in the urinal to help with the smell. Sauce was watery, probably not being stored correctly. Better off with Taco Bell probably the same...
