Cyrus Custom Framing & Art Gallery — Attraction in Canton

Over the years, I've had a variety of kinds of experiences with the great people, great space and great work that defines Cyrus Custom Framing & Art Gallery.

I've had a few pieces framed by them, and relied heavily upon their expertise to choose the right approach to framing the pieces. Their taste was exquisite and elevated the work in ways I couldn't have expected, but loved.

I recently had another quite unexpected experience-of-delight with their work: I bought a house and with it an estate of art lithographs framed by them. In this case - I often liked the framing even more than the particular pieces they framed. (It's so unpredictable how one person and another will respond to any particular piece of art. But given that subjectivity, it's remarkable how much my preference for their framing and matting choices held true -- even when it surrounded someone else's art choices.)

I have had the good fortune of knowing and working with many artists here in Canton, Ohio, and without exception all of them sing the praises of Cyrus Custom Framing with full voice.

Finally, they have hosted many shows in their adjacent gallery. These shows consistently bring together interesting work and local artists. It's always interesting to me when I check out these shows how the conversation that emerges between the various artists whose work is displayed together brings new feelings to all of the pieces in the show.

Grateful to have such a great shop only a six minute walk...

I have a wide variety of professionally framed pieces in my home. Over the years, I have worked with local big box framers (Michael’s, Pat Catans, etc.) as well as great smaller speciality shops like Further Frames out in Denver, Colorado. Christian and the team at Cyrus are top notch and have never failed to impress and amaze me. Ever since first working through the first few things I had them work on in 2017, I haven’t gone to another shop. Their prices are more than fair and Christian and his team all do an amazing job spending time to understand the best way to get your work framed. I’ve seen countless unique amazing frame jobs come out of this place whenever I’m in and I cannot recommend it enough. The framework, mat cutting, and other special touches are second to none.

TL;DR: Cyrus is an A+ shop that is fantastic whether you’re local to Northeast...

I can’t say enough good things about Christian and his team. Every single piece they framed came out better than I could have ever imagined. They are some of the most talented individuals I have ever met. Christian’s eye for design and how he makes the framing enhance the artwork or photography is second to none. Absolutely outstanding work. We will be returning customers for life. Do yourself a favor and go to Cyrus. Drop your piece off and give Christian and his guys complete creative control. You will not be disappointed with...
