Cape Harbour Oyster Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cape Coral

I’ve been here a few times and it’s been great every time. We love oysters and we usually order them anytime we visit a restaurant that offers them. This restaurant, by far, has the best oysters I’ve ever had. I know that’s a BOLD statement but I’ve thought about it very hard and it’s true. They’re large, flavorful and addicting. We also like several other menu items that we order frequently.

The staff is awesome. They shuck the oysters right in front of you and the staff doing it are pros.

I finally left a review because we stopped in the other night 20 minutes until closing. I was concerned about the staff being upset but we already knew everything we wanted to order so I thought it would be ok. I ordered 3 dozen raw oysters and I felt a little bad for the young man that had to shuck them. But he couldn’t care less. He shucked the oysters with a smile on his face and even commented that he couldn’t keep up with how quick we were eating them. I told him just to do his thing as we’re on HIS TIME. He had these oysters out in no time but honestly I’d have waited twice as long because that’s how good they are.

The biggest thing that got me on here to leave this review is the service. I hate showing up to restaurants late and it gives me anxiety. But we have a busy lifestyle and sometimes things just are what they are. The staff here was extremely accommodating. The bartender did inform us of the closing time but she was very polite about it and I quickly informed her that we knew everything we wanted to order already.

They delivered everything with a smile, made some good conversation and even let us sample a free alcoholic drink.

It was great. I look forward to going back and visiting the staff again and getting some epic food.

I’d love to talk with the owner or manager one day when I visit as I’m also a business owner and I would like to share my experience in person.

Last thing, I just want to reiterate that the young man that shucked our oysters was awesome! He was a younger gentlemen who had long dark hair and he may or may not have had a hat on I forget and apologize. I only emphasize that he was young because he performed his job like a seasoned veteran. He knew exactly what he was doing and he did it well and he knew that he did it well. I thanked him several times. He was great and I’ll have to catch his name next...

I came here to leave a review as we always come here whenever we visit Florida. I have to say the food is always very good and one of our favorite places here. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is always amazing. I can’t believe what I am reading as I was sitting at the bar with my family at the time. We were sitting at the bar when I saw the waitress come inside and heard her conversating with a coworker as she was rolling silverware. This review is quite unbelievable, usually when we visit this place it is slammed packed but we happened to come on a relaxed night. Rosie was our waitress the other night and we left very satisfied!! I believe this whole review is unfortunately a lie as I am very observant and never witnessed disgruntled customers or bad service to where you had to wave down your waitress, considering the place is small it wouldn’t be hard to see. It seems you looked for a reason to not leave a standard tip. My family and I love sitting at the bar socializing with others and conversating with the staff as they are always so lovely. If you don’t like the bar then sit outside next time. You would think as a fellow waitress, as you say. You would have more understanding about what is and isn’t a waitresses responsibility as I have bartended for many years in my life. So I'm here to say Rosie if you see this, you did an excellent job and don’t let the judgment of others stop you. It’s people like you that need to do better. There are so many things in your review that seem to be far from the truth. Anyway, it was entertaining to say the least. Oh, and again the food was incredible, definitely worth the trip if you’re nearby and exactly why this is our favorite place to come when we visit Florida. This time we got some entertainment...

Nice location, decent pricing. I have tried to like it. Have been there 3X. Three strikes-your out. Each time (all 3) the service was extremely slow. Yesterday's visit was the poorest visit. Wednesday night at 6:30 and very busy. We were out on the deck and no server around. Decided just to get drinks. Since no server around, I went to the bar. I stood there behind another gentleman for about 5 minutes. The gentleman received the beer he ordered... not sure how long he was there prior to my arrival. I was now at the bar. The bartender avoided eye contact. He washed a glass and went back to the kitchen for awhile. I am now up to about 8-10 minutes. He waited on nobody. He talked to one of the waiters briefly with a bill in his hand. Next, two young ladies came in... the two bar stools next to where I was standing were empty. They asked me if they were available. I said "yes" and they sat down. Less than a minute after sitting, the bartender came over and asked about what they would like. While they were thinking about it, I waved to him and said I have been waiting for service for 10-15 minutes. He put up his hand to me and said, "wait a minute". I felt the "talk to the hand" was rude so I turned around and went back to my date and told everyone around me about the rude bartender and that I would never come back again. Avoid this place....
