Osaka restaurant left me absolutely impressed with their fantastic lunch experience! I visited with some friends, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice.
I ordered the teriyaki shrimp box lunch, and let me tell you, it was an incredible deal! The box lunch came with an array of delectable items, including a delightful house soup, a fresh and crisp salad with ginger dressing that was out of this world (I could eat that dressing every day!), perfectly cooked rice, mouthwatering shrimp with vegetables, and to top it all off, four pieces of sushi. The amount of food you get for the lunch price was astonishing, and I even had plenty left over to take home for later.
Speaking of the taste, everything was simply delicious! The teriyaki shrimp was succulent and paired beautifully with the veggies, adding a good balance of flavors. It lacked a bit in the teriyaki sauce, but it was still delicious. The sushi was fresh and expertly prepared.
The service at Osaka was prompt and courteous, and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. It was evident that they take great care in providing a memorable dining experience for their customers.
I am already looking forward to my next visit to Osaka. With such a wide variety of tempting dishes on their menu, I can't wait to explore more of their offerings. I am already anticipating trying the pho soup on my next visit. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or just love a great meal at an excellent value, Osaka is the place to go. Read moreSat down and ordered drinks and an appetizer. While waiting for the food and drinks to arrive we arranged the napkins and flatware.. and a cockroach scurried out from under my napkin. Needless to say our appetite was gone at that point. When the server delivered our appetizer and drinks, I kindly asked for the check and asked if I could speak with her manager (I assured the server it was nothing she had done wrong).
When the manager came over to the table I told her that fully intded to pay for what we consumed, however I didn't want our server to feel embarrassed so I explained why we would be leaving after we finished our drinks. I'm a retail manager, I know we're in Florida in the rainy season, and although I've never worked in food service I'm sure cockroaches exist in every restaurant to some extent.. I just didn't like seeing it on my table, so I thought it would be helpful to candidly share that information with the manager and not make a fuss (which I thought was considerate).
The manager proceeded to tell me that "you think this side is bad, you should check the hibachi side!" "We lift up the grills to clean them at night and there are families of them down there!" and she just kept going on and on and on..
What I thought was a considerate way to handle the situation and gave the benefit of the doubt to the restaurant turned into absolute frustration because of the way the "manager" handled it. I wasn't going to even write a review but based on her answer I feel like I have to share what I've learned. Sorry for ruining...

Unfortunately today I went to pick up a to go order for my daughter it was working in 11 hour shift today , and the food was packaged poorly with sauce all over sushi, etc. caucasian woman answering the phone and running to register to use a force in customer service one oh one… she refused to give the name of the manager to my daughter when my daughter called, and after putting honor on hold they did agree to make the order right. So now here I am driving again to go pick up an order that should’ve been packaged more carefully in the first place, and I’m not looking forward to seeing a sourpuss when I get there …The “manager ” did call back requesting a photo which my daughter was able to provide along with the description of sauce all over the food, etc. although the manager insisted this is not been an issue before, looking up other reviews customers have said otherwise. I can only hope that they address this issue for takeout orders!
When I picked up the replacement order the food was hot and packaged properly at this time!
Unfortunately Miss sourpuss could barely muster up “here you go” (underneath her breath) as her best shot at customer service. If I were the owners and management I would consider either training her specifically in the area of offering great customer service or she should look for another line...
