Our fIrst experience with "open table" online reservation; it worked like a charm, receiving email confirmation and even adding an entry to my calendar.

Our party of two arrived and we were greeted with a big smile and quickly seated by our friendly hostess.

Our waiter Dereck welcome us and took our drink order. Upon his return he gave us the rundown of the daily specials. We opted for a Caesar salad and mussels in spicy marinara sauce to start, followed by our entrees, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese.

While waiting , Dereck brought us some hot rolls and Kalamata olive butter in olive oil for dipping, soooo yummy !!

The Caesar salad was a pure delight with thinly shaved cheese, nothing overpowering. The mussels were perfectly done and the sauce was nicely seasoned, not overly spicy.

What I appreciated a lot is that the whole team works together; whoever saw the need for a water or drink refill, would quickly take care of it. Many times, waiters walk right past the table, because you are not their patron; not here.

Our meals were delivered with a smile and nice and hot. Both the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese were wonderfully delicious. We were offered additional bread and more of that yummy Kalamata butter spread to accompany our entrees.

After reminiscing on our great main course, we finished up by ordering tiramisu & cannoli's with two black coffees. To cleanse the palate, limoncello was a perfect addition.

This was our first time at Terra Nostra Ristorante. Vincenzo and his brothers have taken over just three weeks ago, and along with their team, did a fantastic job. We will be back again. Best of luck, see you next...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and you may want to stay far away from here after reading about how I was treated. Ive gotten takeout 4 previous times and never had any problems but this time my chicken parm was way overcooked and the chicken was rubbery and tough. It was barely edible and I saved a large portion to show the restaurant after throwing away the piece that was on my plate. I called and nicely asked for a remake but was told " that people lie all the time " and they will NOT remake it but instead they offered me a free dessert. I explained ive eaten there many times before and I've never called in with any issues, so why would I lie on my 5 th visit after spending hundreds of dollars previously ? The female manager was so rude and dismissive and just didnt care. She said its " their policy " and i said fine- then im leaving a bad review and she had the nerve to say " that says a lot about who you are as a person. " ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? you guys messed up my order and im asking for a remake and you are gonna INSULT ME and say im a liar ? This business obviously doesn't trust its customers and thinks we are all thieves and liars, so I would reconsider eating here especially when their prices are SO MUCH HIGHER than similar places! The chicken parm cost me $32.00 out the door and please look at my photo and notice how one of the chicken parm pieces had NO CHEESE aside from tasting like rubber.... Bugs! This is unfortunately the best way I can describe our experience. We are visiting family in Fort Myers and decided to go to Terra Nostra as my wife was craving Italian. Other than the service being a bit slow we were pretty happy, and then the bugs arrived. We ordered calimari and continually found live bugs below the food, but brushed it off as a hazard of eating outside. Then they kept coming, into my water, into the olive oil for the bread, and those are only the places we know about. My wife had to cover her drinks to ensure they weren't infested by whatever was outside, and we couldn't find other tables experiencing the same issue. When the food came out, we asked to speak with the manager and when Peter arrived we let him know of the issue and that we we understood that he couldn't control everything with it being outside. Peter essentially just laughed at us and told us it wasn't his problem. We again indicated that we understood that he couldn't control being outdoors, but wanted him to be aware as we seemed to be the only table affected by the issue. Peter gave no effs and only after repeated comments did he offer to move us inside We instead asked for the plates and cups with live bugs in them to be removed and only the cup was removed. Not everyone is looking for a free meal and we gave Peter many opportunities, and his default effort was to laugh at his guests. Due to this, I cannot recommend Terra Nostra.
