Although the outside of the building gives the appearance of a larger room its actually quite a smaller or closer inside than when we first parked. Which there is plenty of close to the building. The Restaurant is dimly lit. The walls are lined with Booth Seating. In the corners there are larger curved well lit booths. The center of the room has Table seating. The Wait staff are very courteous, prompt and accommodating. The Restaurant and Restrooms are very clean. We were there at approximately 6:15ish on a Sunday, they were very busy. Normally one would wait to be seated, we were invited to choose our own. However, our Waiter took no time getting to us and still apologized for our wait. The Meals we had were Green Pepper Steak with Fried Rice and Moo Goo Hai Pan with steamed Rice, Egg Flower Soup, two pieces of Shrimp Rangoon with our choice of Beverage. For two people and a Tip $32. The only thing I found uncomfortable with was the very loud roar of the crowd. Apparently two Birthdays were being celebrated. This was our first time there. We will be going again hopefully to a quieter clientele. The food portions, the overall atmosphere, the wait time, the Staff and the Cost made us comfortable enough to enjoy our Supper and the...
Read moreI would absolutely agree with the recognition the locals have given this excellent restaurant. Our meals included the Hot and Sour Soup, the fabulous Shrimp Rangoon, Generals Tso’s Chicken, my favorite the Chop Suey and a dish that only people that have lived in Missouri probably know about, the “Springfield Style Cashew Chicken.” We all ordered Hot and Sour Soup. The waitress asked if we had ever had it here, because it is a “little different” she said. She brought out a sample for us to try. It was different. It was very good, but I would call it Hot and slightly Sweet Soup! The Shrimp Rangoon was the most crispy, delightful wontons we have ever had! The Chop Suey was perfect. The General Tso’s Chicken was a little different. The sauce had some tomato base to it. It was not oily or syrupy, a really nice flavor. Then there was the Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. This Dish originated at Leong's Tea House in Springfield, MO. Instead of stir-fried chicken, it is deep-fried then covered with a sauce made from chicken stock, soy sauce and oyster sauce, topped off with cashews and green onions. Nice, friendly staff providing very good service.

Read moreI went for luch walked in noticed I was the 3rd person there was told to sit anywhere I want. I sat at a booth a server named KiKi came to ask me the common questions what would I like to drink and if I was ready to order? Lot's of time's I will ask what they recommend if they don't know or can't answer usually a sign of a bad server.IMO She however helped me narrow down options. I ordered my food she brought me the drink the wonton soup and the egg roll rather quick although seperatly and everything was hot as it should be then the main dish beef and broccoli with rice. The food is 4/5 but the best part was her service the amount of times she came to check on me and be an actual server was impeccable the service was top notch from the time I sat down to getting the check I counted like 13 times she came to check on me to make sure everything was ok and some times to offer a refill which I didn't need still the attention to the service was above most restaurant's that I have been to even at $125 a plate which I don't do a lot. The food was a 4/5 but the service was 5/5 flawless and for that they get 5 stars. I would probably add 3 wonton to the soup if I were them but...
