HD Media Systems — Local services in Cape Girardeau

This place is a bit of a joke. From what I can tell, at least with the salesman Greg, they over price quotes and target the unsuspecting.

They came to give a quote for a 8 camera install with home security install . After walking the property I was told the price would be somewhere in the range of $2500 to $3500, with a quote that would be sent 2 days after the visit.

Quote never showed up until I called asking about it. The quote came over as $9988.44. A joke. On asking about the high price, I got a email the following week telling they would not do the install.

I contacted these guys about running network cable throughout my house. They came up with a crazy plan that would have required multiple contractors in order to fix all the cutting they would do to my walls. And on top of that, once they left, they never even called us back with the estimate at all. I called to check on the estimate, and was told I would hear back in the next day or so. I never heard back at all. How do they expect to run a business if they can't even return a potential customers call? I ended up calling Hi Tech Communications. They came out and figure out how to do it without all the cutting and having to hire other contractors. They came in and got it done in less than a day, and did it right.
