I never leave reviews but tonight’s experience was so uncalled for, that I felt I should. I ordered a peanut butter cup flurry and asked if it would be possible to go light on the peanut butter cups. The girl taking my order said that they could easily do this, but I guess she never communicated my request to the girl creating my flurry. So when the second girl brought it to the window and I noticed that it was overflowing with peanut butter cups I expressed my disappointment. This young girl rolled her eyes and said she would remake it. Then I watched as she remade the flurry - she scooped one scoop of peanut butter cups and then three scoops of something else from a different container. This was something small and white. When I got the second flurry, I found she had added snow caps. I don’t understand why it was necessary to mess up my second flurry. I wasn’t trying to be difficult. I was told it would be simple enough to put less peanut butter cups in a flurry. I’m sorry that wasn’t communicated but to intentionally add something to someone’s order seems not only petty, but dangerous had I been allergic to the added ingredient. I brought the second flurry back this time simply asking for a refund (I was not willing to gamble on what these girls would do to my flurry this time if I asked them to make it again). The manager dismissed my claim citing that all Ice Cream shops have cross contamination and that I could not have seen what I saw. She gave me the refund and then slammed the window on me. I’m sorry to say I’ll never return...

I'm a local, and I've been going to Dry Dock for years. I've always thought that it was rather expensive for the type of place it is, but I paid the price because I thought the quality was good. That has, unfortunately, changed. I can't speak to the actual "dinners," but mainly the ice cream. I remember years back when I would get a strawberry milkshake, it had real strawberries in the ice-cream; they would get caught in my straw. It was really delicious despite the $7 price tag (yikes!). But last year the strawberry ice cream is just pink with no berries. It's also sweeter, not as good. I'll try it again this summer to see if the quality of the other items (e.g., sandwiches, onion rings, etc.) has gone down or stayed the same. I realize that inflation is getting everyone (inc. businesses), but I'm just not willing to pay a lot of money for a...
Read moreThis place is pretty expensive, but the food is pretty good. You come here for the ice cream, in my opinion. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the food is cooked to order and isn't outstanding, but it is pretty good. The best recommendation I can offer: walk next door and grab yourself some gigantic drinks. Then bring those over to Dry Dock to have with your food. Everyone around us did that and it was brilliant, as the drinks you get at dry dock are seriously over priced and sipped up in seconds. Ice cream: amazing. The funnel cake sundae was incredibly delicious, but the peanut butter cup sundae was the best. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for snackies and ice cream, docked a star because of overpriced food and drinks. (We went for lunch, order 4 sandwiches with fries and 4 drinks - that was $70. We ordered 2 milkshakes and 2 sundaes and...
