The pizza was delicious! The people in the kitchen are hard working, most of them family members. I wasn’t impressed with the hostess, or a couple waitress, although others were great. Being in the Restaurant business for yours it’s just really hard for me to watch somebody just stand around, especially when there’s dirty, filthy areas that could be clean, even just the top of tables and condiments. We did enjoy the pizza, we might order to take out. I was a bit disgusted by the attire that a couple people wore. I think you need to be more presentable when you’re working with the public. Not just my opinion. I JUST——-

I first went to PizzaFarro's on Camelback Road in Phoenix back in 1975 or 1976. I am happy to say that the Carefree location brings back all the feels. The staff was friendly. Don (owner/founder) is still kneading dough in the kitchen (50+ years!). And that first bite? I am instantly back in time riding my single speed Schwinn with a banana seat, wearing OP shorts, a Kennington shirt, puka shell necklace, listening to KISS on KDKB 'Rocks Arizona'... Perfect!

I've been eating at Pizzafarro's for almost 30 years and it's delicious. I love the regular crust pizza (well done) and I always start with a house garden salad (add mozzarella). The pizza crust is where it's at. The only thing missing from my childhood experience is Sioux City Sarsaparilla, which they no longer carry.

Love this place. It is a family run restaurant that has been in Carefree, AZ for quite some time. I have been going here to eat their delicious food since I was in middle school and I don't regret one moment. Love the fact they offer thin crust and traditional crust. They also offer gluten free crust which my sister enjoys. Pizza like no other, something about their fresh ingredients and that pizza sauce is just magical. Their Chicken Parmesan and Meatball Subs are also delicious (I add cheese to mine, so worth it!). Pizzafarro's is definitely a hidden gem more people should visit if you appreciate delicious artisan pizza. Also love their beer on tap and the fact they have two wine taps as well. Nothing like some Pizza and wine or beer to finish off the day or to start the weekend. Definitely a great family place! This is my family's favorite pizza place!

Favorite combos: Margarita Pizza, Canadian Bacon and Pineapple Pizza , Pepperoni, Sausage, Basil...

This restaurant was recommended by a taxi driver and the bell boy at our hotel.

We ate here on the last night of our vacation and to say it was the culinary highlight of the trip is quite the statement. We had done fine dining every night prior like the wannabe snobs that we aim to be so wanted something more low-key. This was the absolute best choice.

The service was SO good. We literally felt like part of the family. The lady that served us could not have been nicer. We cracked jokes - not the usual ‘I want a tip’ type jokes - real jokes. We laughed a lot.

But that aside, the food. My God. Best pizza my wife and I have had anywhere. And we’ve travelled a lot. Oh, and pizza is our favourite food so this is a strong statement. So good. So so good.

We could not recommend nor rate this place high...

No excuses for such a lousy experience. The restaurant hasn’t seen anything new since it was established in 1971. The average age of diners was about 68 on a Saturday evening. The service was horrendous, only one server was on her game but all others were either nowhere to be found or completely forgetting any requests. The food was just as subpar. The meatballs were frozen and the bread they were served on for the meatball sandwich was a super crunchy bruschetta type bread. The Ravioli was frozen as well as evidenced by the amount of water in the bowl beneath the jarred sauce. And in what backwards country is minestrone in a chicken broth base with orzo, garlic, canned green beans and some stringy green something that was unidentifiable. Time to consider closing up shop and doing us...
