Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Carencro

Update 9/28/23 It never fails. Every time I visit this location, my order is never correct, or they are missing something. I ordered a #3. This is a chicken sandwich with bacon on it. Clearly, I was given a basic chicken sandwich combo at the cost of the #3. I added a photo of the receipt and the sandwich. I don't know who is the head of this location, but something needs to change.

I can honestly say that this is the only location that is always missing something I ask for. It amazes me that any restaurant can continuously be out of certain things every time I visit. The chicken has always been dry to the texture, just short of jerky with the exception of one visit that I can remember. I used to frequent Popeyes before I moved into the area that this Popeyes is located in. The only reason I give this place two stars is because the service has always been pleasant.

Update: 9/11/22 This is by far the worst Popeyes that I have ever visited. I pulled in the drive thru and literally sat there for 10 minutes before losing my patience and shouting into the mic. I was then greeted with a hey I'm sorry, what can I get you. I was then told as usual that they did not have spicy chicken, and there would be a wait that she was unsure how long the wait would be. At this point, they honestly need to fire the whole crew and management and start fresh because there's always an issue whenever I visit this location. My advice is if you have a little extra time, just visit the location on Willow. The service and food are just ten times...

My wife and I decided to give Popeyes another chance not to mess up our order after about a year of not going because of the same reason. They charged me over $30 for two meals. I don't eat white meat but they put some in my order that night. I ordered 3 apple pies. I got one apple pie and 2 strawberry pies. I ordered red beans and coleslaw for the 2 sides I didn't get either of those. I ordered sweet teas i ended up with 2 cokes. I called corporate about it. They offered me $10 off my next order. Hell,$10 won't even buy a meal. The pieces of chicken here got not much bigger than a pigeon leg and they charge right at $5 per piece of chicken. It's ridiculous how these people always screw up orders, take your hard earned money but yet no one does anything about it!!! No one will contact you in any way to even attempt to make their screw up right! The way they see it they're always right!! The number 1 rule of any business is THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! Rule number 2 is when in doubt see rule number 1!! But these people will refuse to make things right now matter what! Stay as far as you can away from the Carencro Popeyes!! They will rip you off!! The customer service isn't worth noting either .Everyone has an attitude. Half cooked chicken. Messed up orders, attitudes from everyone and most importantly, no one does...

So today 9/7/2025 I ordered 12 pieces of dark chicken, with two large sides and two apple pies. I was told it would be a 15 min at 1:00 and to pull up at the front door they would bring my order to me at 1:20 I went inside to ask how much longer it would be on the mild chicken the manager said 20min, they had a lot of orders over 4 cars we’re served while I was waiting. I told the manager I was to 20 min ago I had a 15 min wait. She kept her back turn to me showing she was upset while apologizing about the wait. I returned to my truck and continued to wait, at 1:40 a customer wave at me from the window to let me know my order was ready. The order was wrong12 piece mix I was told it would be another 15 min wait for the correct order, they gave me 3 small red beans instead of a large that barely had anything in it, no apple pie’s. This was the worse customer service ever, instead of making a scene and being disrespectful to the employees I just left. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone the manager is upset they’re get people’s order wrong and doesn’t have any customer service skills with a bad attitude definitely the wrong person to...
