Stopped here to oder meal to go for the first time. Walked in AHEAD of a little family of 4-5 people. The place was empty and for the obvious reason the lone staff behind the bar decided to notify me in a rude and dismissive manner she would be right with me. Leaving me standing with my menu unattended and ignored. First and foremost I was discouraged at driving my car onto the totally devastated parking lot, secondly when she returned I had to ask her “do you know what color money is”? Well, to all business owners “MONEY” is green. Needless to say I left this establishment with my green money and dignity! I am a gainfully employed licensed healthcare worker who was buying lunch for a group of 15 well deserved exhausted post pandemic healthcare workers. We serve all of the community no matter where they come from, and no matter what color they are, they are...
Read moreI don’t write reviews often, but this was out of line. We’ve been regulars at this restaurant, but tonight’s visit was very disappointing. My dad asked for an extra grilled chicken, and instead of doing his job, the chef arrogantly told us we had to “follow his rules,” for he’s an “expert” chef. He cussed us out, shoved undercooked chicken at him, and even pointed his spatula in his face. Completely unprofessional, rude and unnecessary. I do want to take a moment to thank and apologize to our server. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and tried her best to calm the situation down. She made sure we were taken care of and was also very kind to the elderly couple dining next to us. The only reason I’m not leaving a 1-star review is because of her excellent service. I hope management addresses the chef’s behavior because it really impacts...
Read moreDon't go alone if you want hibachi. I work on the road and was thrilled to find a hibachi place... Walk in and told that I cannot get hibachi dining alone, they have a minimum requirement of two persons I have been to hibachi restaurants in multiple states and have NEVER been turned away because I was alone. I called and spoke with the manager who told me that it is common to not "open" a table for just one person. Open a table? Hibachi restaurants have multiple chefs that rotate to the tables as they are filled or after a certain time. She seemed shocked that I have been the only person at a hibachi table before. Sometimes it happens, but I have never been turned away from it because I was dining alone. No wonder they have so many tables and only one was being used. Bad business practices and bad customer service lead to...
