Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in undefined

As a truck driver, I eat in a lot of restaurants, and I have never really been a big fan of Hardee’s or Carl’s Jr. But yesterday I stopped at the Carl’s Jr. in Italy, Texas at the loves truckstop, and I was absolutely amazed. The service and everything was great but the jalapeño double burger that I got was the absolute best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the lettuce, the tomatoes. None of it could’ve been any better if I would’ve made it myself. They put a decent amount of sauce on there which unlike McDonald’s who likes to give you a quarter size squirt of Mac sauce on their big Mac, and then charge you a dollar to have a decent amount put on, this was a welcomed change. Their burger was as good as any In-N-Out Burger that I’ve ever had and I absolutely love those. I definitely will be eating their burgers when I come through there. I have been missing carls jr SO BAD since the Waco location closed down, as there's no locations until houston. I'm so happy I spotted this location from the highway. I love the charbroil burgers, especially when I am HUNGRY from traveling so long in a vehicle. The big Angus combo is always soooo filling and the waffle fries and fried zucchini are just such a treat. I crave the zucchini like nothing else, it's so tasty! The guacamole bacon burger is my go-to, but I immensely enjoyed the spiciness of the jalapeño popper burger, which also had sliced jalapeños and pepperjack! So much delicious spice! The team fried up my waffle fries and zucchini fresh, so they were piping hot and I had to eat the burgers while they cooled. But I love that they aren't just warmed by a lamp and stale. Stopped by on my way back from a business trip from Dallas to gas up and grab a coffee at Love's. I didn't catch breakfast at the hotel, so I decided to grab something. I was going to buy something at the love's, but saw Carl's Jr had breakfast and I had never been. I was not disappointed at all! I got the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was massive. I had ordered a burrito as well. I was expecting small portions similar to McDonald's, but the portions were definitely Texas-sized! I was only able to eat the sandwich 😂. It was great! I asked for hot sauce and they had cholula!
