Golden Chick

FINALLY! Our whole order with no mistakes! Out of the 20 or so times we've gone to Golden Chick, I'd say in10 of the 20 there'd be something missing & we'd have to hang on to the receipt & feel embarrassed to ask for the missing item next time. We live too far away to just drive back. Sometimes we've stayed put in the drive-thru until everything we ordered was in the bag. When Ms. Copeland is there, we know the order is always right but if she's not there...well, they'd forget the gravy, the salad dressing, the extra roll we ordered or we'd get only 3 pieces on a 4 piece tender order. The food is always tasty & we really like the fried fish, & chicken salad sandwiches too. The reason for the 4 stars is because the phone is often off the hook so we can't call in an order ahead of time. The website says order online but that's not working. When the phone does ring, they might answer it after the 20th ring but that usually when it all the young 'uns are working. Best thing is the delicious...

Ordered the new buffalo meal, the person taking my order repeated it back to me byt charged me bbq and gave me the bbq meal. It was disgusting. I called and spoke to a manager who had no problem making a new plate but I was already 30 minutes north. I returned the next day on my way out of town and the two people are the window were so bothered by my request they practically through the plate at me when I opened it the meal was fresh but the chicken strips were literally the size of nuggets or smaller and literally about eight fries. I went around and ordered another plate and paid because it just wasn't a full meal. My new plate was over stuffed with fries and large chicken strip but so very cold. The meal says it comes with ranch on the menu and it wasn't served with either plate when I asked for it the eye rolls...

I am the area manager for the Italy location and the claim for the lady that claims her child recieved E-coli and Salmonella is a false accusation. When rendering to this person to get details and to take care of her and her child she was unable to provide documentation that is required by state law to give to the State Health Department. The documentation could not be provided. These are very serious accusations and can put a person in the hospital for days if not kill them. I assure all my customers of this location that all safety procedures are taken and we have well trained management staff that keep an eye on all food quality and temps.
