DING TEA CARLSBAD — Restaurant in Carlsbad

This is probably going to disappoint many of you. The good reviews and stars that you see here are most likely are not genuine. They get 5 star customer reviews by bribing them with a free boba pin (their merchandise)(see picture below)

I think this is embarrassing because some businesses actually earn their stars on reviews. I came here because of the stars and to know that they could be fake is sad.

Please be aware when coming here because it could be a mistake like it was for us.

DING TEA, please inform your customer about how sweet drinks can be and please stop baiting for your customers.

We walked about a mile uphill to get there and it was 100% worth the walk. The staff were super friendly and added to the atmosphere with their positive attitudes. We ordered and didn't even get the chance to sit down, as our order was already set out — honestly thought we'd end up waiting a while because of how many people were there. The tea was absolutely divine (in my opinion) for the price — $6 for a large, which is inexpensive in comparison to a lot of places in Carlsbad and Oceanside.

We will definitely be returning in the near future ♡...

Management pushes customers to order 50 percent ice. They are inconsistent with the tea options and their flavoring. The staff lacks product knowledge. The options for ice 30 percent, 50, and 75. However, management when there, does not allow ice under 50 percent. Sadly, this is dishonest and unethical business practice, and is what reflects the rating. Bad customer experience, lack of customization, and poor judgment call makes me not recommend this place. Would avoid since they force you to do 50...
