Visited June 23, 2019. Would give NO stars, but that's not an option. Waited to be sat nearly ten to fifteen minutes, not even acknowledged we were in the facility. . . There were 6 of us. There were only about five other tables being utilized. Took another ten minutes to get drinks and to order our food. Appeared to only be one server working. Two hostesses. . . Not sure their purpose, they were doing nothing! My son ordered a refill, after fifteen minutes (and still no meals on table) I went looking for the waitress. There was an employee sitting at a table refilling salt and pepper shakers. I get his attention and asked him if he could get our waitress. He acted as if he spoke no English, and then asked me to hold on. . . As he took ear buds out of both ears! Then asked me what I needed again. . . Still acting like he didn't understand the words, 'find my server my son wants his refill!'. He comes to our table and asked my son what kind of soda and if we need anything else. I ask him to check in our order. Again, acting like he doesn't fully understand, asked if we were ready to order. I told him we had ordered, where is it?!? He left. One of the hostesses brought back my sons Mt. Dew several more minutes later. I tell her I'm getting upset and want to know where out food is. . . Simply, it was two grilled cheese sandwiche kid meals, two chocolate chocolate chip pancake meals, a chicken fried steak meal and a bowl of soup with a side of fries. She says it's coming. Literally an hour after ordering, we get grilled cheese sandwiches and the chicken fried steak, fries and soup. The steak and fries barely warm. We ask for catsup, never too be brought. . . Five minutes later, out comes ONE of the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes order. Center was uncooked batter and cold. Another five minutes, I head to the kitchen. One hostess and our waitress just chatting back there. After some frustration, I ask to speak to management. I'm told the manager went to the store, and our other pancakes are almost done. I go back to our table. The ear bud employee makes it back to our table to see if he can help. I ask if he's the manager. He says no, but kind of supervising. . . What ever that means. . .I tell him we are still waiting on sons meal. He, again like he doesn't understand, asked if he's ready to order. I am getting heated and told him in Spanish he is waiting for his food! Amazingly, he speaks English now! I tell him that we will not be paying for ANYTHING on the table, it will be comped. We still had to travel back to Lubbock and did not expect to wait an hour just to get our half ready meal. He says, is there a problem? I explain to him the mess and repeat that we are not paying for the meal. He tells me he'll see what he can do, and I repeat. . . NOTHING ON THIS TABLE IS GOING TO BILLED TO US, BUT RATHER COMPED! He leaves the table. He comes back with a nightmare of a plate of chocolate chocolate chip pancakes thrown on a plate and not even complete. He sets it down and said, will there be anything else? I look at the plate, at him, at the plate and at him again. . . In which he's lucky he didn't end up wearing the pancakes. I tell him, NOTHING is going to be paid for. He walks off. I tell the kids to go to the car. I get the phone number off the door and left a message. I got the phone number, see picture above, to call the owner. . . In which was a wrong number. I wait at the front to let them know, I am leaving and they are responsible for my meal. I tell another lady, who had a few kids in tow, she might want to rethink her discission to dine there. . . She had also not been acknowledged in the time they were waiting. Not a one of the employees would come to the front to see what I needed, and I was not going to walk out without them acknowledging me and why I'm not paying. . . No way am I taking a wrap for dinner and walk! They see me from the other kitchen entrance, and I wait. Finally, 'supervisor' comes out and asked if he can help me. I tell him I'm leaving, he says back, ok. Have a great day. HAVE A...
Read moreDo not come here. We waited 10 minutes to be seated while numerous waiters glanced and stared at us despite the entire restaurant having only ONE other customer. Finally sat down and ordered. My wife asked for a salad, and our waiter responded with "Oh we don't have that right now." My wife said that was fine and instead ordered the eggs Benedict with a few vegetables and whatnot on it, and some blueberry crepes.l, along with a strawberry refresher and mangi refresher. While waiting for our order, the manager and staff held a conversation about being "knocked up by Keshaun (another staff member)" while on on both sides of us, speaking louder to talk over my family that was in between them. We received our appetizers, of onion rings, chicken strips, and mozzarella strips (which were all burnt that even my kids wanted nothing to do with them). 15 minutes later our waiter brings us one order for a child, and a salad for my wife (which she told us they did not have so we did not order it) and it was also not the right type of salad even mentioned in the first place, causing another issue of being unsure what kind of dressing was included with this dish because of a sever almond allergy. We asked for a menu to be sure we had ordered the right things, and we mentioned that the eggs Benedict was missing everything except for mushrooms and burnt spinach, our waitress told us that there was a new cook who didn't know what he was doing. We then asked if the blueberry crepes and mango refresher had been ordered, which our waitress had only brought one of the drinks and said "she did not hear my wife about the crepes nor the drink". She then took the eggs Benedict back to the kitchen, and after a few minutes the female manager returned herself and holding the new plate of eggs. When it was placed on the table and we said thank you very much, the manager then stood by our table and stared, almost as if waiting to watch my wife eat the food. Very awkward 60 seconds of silence in which we did not eat the food and just stared at each other until finally the manager walked away. Mybwife then became worried that something might have been done to the food maliciously because of the manager waiting and staring, so we then got up and paid our bill. Which came out to over $100. I did not wish to make more of a scene about not ordering this salad (which was still wrong) or the food, and left most of our plates untouched and did not leave a tip. As we left, our waitress and the manager stared at us through the window while we walked to our vehicle. My wife used the restroom while here as well, mentioning that it was "disgusting" and probably hadn't been cleaned in several days. It was to such an extent that when another customer was looking for the restroom, my wife who has serious social anxiety, felt the strong need to let the other female customer know that the restroom was disgusting. I completely understand mistakes during rushes or busy hours, but while being an almost entirely empty lobby and after 2pm when lunch hours were over, is very telling of what other issues might be arise during busy times for this location. Do not contact me about remedying this situation, I will not be returning, and strongly advise for anyone else to avoid eating at...
Read moreThe parking lot is empty for a reason.
A party of two walked in right before us a party of three. The five of us stood at the front for almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to come and seat us. There was a meeting in the back room and one woman was attending to them. One woman on crutches was walking around attempting to gather all of the doordash to go orders and the hostess/waitress was not to be found.
When we finally were seated having had ample time to look over the menu, we knew what we wanted. She took our full order with our three Waters and hot chocolate to drink and it took almost 15 minutes to get the waters to the table. The couple that came in before us placed their order never received their Waters or appetizers and got up and left.
Shortly after our order was served to us almost 40 minutes from sitting down, The couple's food that had left arrived. The waitress served their food to an empty table. Neglecting her other tables of paying customers that were attempting to order there were three.
Is he meeting in the back? Had wrapped up and the manager had been upset by the size of the tip they had left and pulled our waitress over to the corner to gripe and complain about it for nearly 8 minutes.
I honestly had nothing better to do than to time everything.
When the food arrived to our table, the hash browns and all the potato products were cold. The biscuits were cold. Eggs were cold. The pancakes were cold. Half of our order did not arrive and we had to remind her and it took another 15 almost 20 minutes for that food to arrive.
There was a guy that kept wandering in and out of the kitchen and came to find out he was the chef. He spent more time wandering around the restaurant and outside of the kitchen than actually preparing food for the 11 guests that were in the restaurant.
We were presented with the bill and when it came time to pay there was no one to take our payment.
We waited and waited and finally switched from card to cash and had to leave it under the cash register.
A formal complaint was made with IHOP and after a conversation with that customer service agent I was basically told "sorry we know, can't do much about it right now. "
Do not waste your time, money, peace or brain cells going...
