Stone Griffon Vineyard — Restaurant in Carlton

One of my favorite wineries. It's not commercial like some of the other wineries. The owner is gracious and helpful. Linda rocks. She is very informative and we always leave w at least one case. The variety is fantastic. Even picky winos can find something they will love. We are proud members of Stone Griffon and are so happy we found them. For a wine tasting venue..it was nice. Today they had live music..was pleasent. The main thing was Terry. I am not a wine drinker.. but I came with a group that was. I politely asked if they had a beer on site..they don't..but Terry hooked me up.. let me into his private stash. So my hat off to him..and the amount of customer care they offer. Well done. This was our surprise find while touring around Oregon wineries in the McMinnville area. While they have the expected Pinot Noir, they also have a number of other varietals on offer, and I found the Merlot especially good.
