BEST PIZZA IN THE PITTSBURGH AREA!!! Hands down the best crust and sauce. Makes Fiore's and Mineos look like amateurs! (those two are normally touted as the best of the local pizza scene...well no more).

Crust: flavorful chewy crust with great texture, good wheaty flavor with just a thin layer of crisp-ness and texture, perhaps a bit of corn meal or semolina dusted in the oven?? Crust is normally forgettable but this crust is amazing.

Sauce: this sauce is what makes this PIE!!! Its literally Perfect! Mildly sweet and subtly seasoned. Not too much sauce per slice, very light layer. But you can taste each element from the garlic to the fresh basil in a very nice fresh and sweet tasting tomato base. Best sauce Ive ever had. (ask for extra on the side for dipping crusts)

Cheese: is adequate and not too heavily topped as to make the pie sloppy or impossible to eat while walking or on the go. But there is still plenty there to be the star of the show. (Isn't cheese always the star?) Huge NY style slices make for a great meal with only one or two slices. Plenty of topping choices and signature pies. Also gotta try their garlic knots and pepperoni rolls!

Skip the chains and get some SLICE!! Nice selection of...

Called to order dinner from the Carnegie location. I was told 40 minutes. When my girlfriend showed up to pick up the pizza, slice said they didnt have that order in the system. That they could make it for us, but it would be another 40 minutes and would still be full price. The employees seemed unable to put in a rush order, and from my partners observation everyone was yelling and making excuses while i was on hold waiting for the manager. I had to call back and wait 10 minutes on hold to talk to the manager, Alicia. She was unapologetic about the mistake, and tried to make Me feel like somehow it was my fault the order wasnt in their system. At this point my girlfriend text me to let me know she was over it and no longer wanted the order. Unapologetic, unorganized,...

So I ordered from them because I love their pizza I got a hoagie and I ordered extra cheese extra mayo and extra dressing.. my food was too dark (to be polite) so I took it back, The gentleman that looked at it told me it wasn’t too dark, and then proceeded to touch all over my food with his bare hands and then tell me he couldn’t do anything about it and try to give me my food back. I will never order from them again. that was the most disgusting thing in the world for you to touch my food with your bare hands, and then try to hand it back to me and not rectify the problem. If I felt as though it was too dark for me it should’ve been rectified he chose to finger my food with his bare hands, and then try to give...

Slice on Broadway is a Thin crust, New York style pizza shop. The pizza is simple but done well. The sauce and cheese on the slices are good quality and work well together. The crust has a Semolina/Sourdough type taste to it. They provide a good sauce/cheese to crust ratio. Very foldable slices. It’s not a greasy slice either - unless you add Pepperoni of course. Usually they have individual slices and rolls available to those who walk in. The Pepperoni and Steak/Onion rolls are above average. They have great Ranch dressing for all of the fans out there as well. Prices have gone up recently, but the quality has stayed on point here. Definitely worth a visit for a slice!

Pizza was pretty good! We got a half and half pizza. I just got cheese and pep on mine...since this was my first time there I wanted to test it out. I forgot what my better half got, but she made hers a bit more exotic. We ate in, so the pizza was very hot when served to us. Note to self...wait for it to cool a bit before digging in or else all the toppings will slide right off lol...my mistake! Friendly people at the counter. The only small gripe was the price (I believe it was a $1 for each additional topping, so that adds up quick if you customize quite a bit). Other than that it was a great little place! I'll be back!
