My Favorite Sweet Shoppe — Local services in Carnegie

After receiving a gift card to this shop from a student, I took my 3 children there. We spent lots of time picking fun treats as one of our “summer bucket list” places to go! When I went to pay, the cashier said the gift card wouldn’t work. It only came to $9 dollars, and I didn’t have my wallet. A business shouldn’t sell gift cards that malfunction. The person in charge was rude and I had to drag 3 crying children out of the store. I would not recommend this place.

Update: The owner got into contact with me and explained their was an electronic error. She was very apologetic and made the situation right! I’ll be trying it again after the customer...

I wish I took photos inside. I was too thrilled they had white chocolate strawberries!!! It's so charming and old time candy store like!

It was a TOTAL SURPRISE visit thanks to my boyfriend because finding any white chocolate items is so hard to find!!! This place, just as much white chocolate as milk chocolate!!!

Once we got into the car, I had to try one. The white chocolate is not sickening sweet like others. The strawberries are juicy and have me goosebumps. Best white chocolate covered strawberries I've had.

My boyfriend got the chocolate covered Oreo's and loved them.

From the outside when you see the sign, walking up to the store front…you are craving sweets even if you aren’t hungry! Then you open the door and the homemade chocolate and caramel smell hit you!! Then the old fashioned candy from when I grew up! Even my sister does and she is much older than I! Then the chocolate cases and all the homemade chocolate! Milk, Dark, White and Sugar-free!! So glad there is a second shop now open...
