Fu Hou Buffet II & Restaurant — Restaurant in Carolina

Only reason I went to this place was because it was a family member’s birthday and they chose this buffet, but I would not visit it again. The service was mediocre to say the least, they sometimes came to get dirty plates but mostly we had to put them in unoccupied tables to make space on our table. They didn’t come back to ask if we needed more napkins. The place was basically empty which was a HUGE red flag 🚩 The food was subpar and cold, THAT I can’t forgive, COLD food… really???? The ice cream they have was basically frozen blocks of ice. After driving an hour to get to this place you can imagine how one feels when you are hungry and your plate is full of cold food 😕 I do not recommend this place to anyone, save your money, there are way better Asian restaurants you can go to. Above my expectations. Generally you dont expect good quality on a buffet... but everything i grabbed tasted fresh, onpoint. They have a pretty wide selection. Even had sushi, although i did not taste it. They even had grilled churrasco, medium well.. its nice to have this option. I really like the oranged chiken, lo mein and the breaded shrimp.

The only downside is that they did not have any oriental soups such as miso or the normal chicken soups found in chinese restaurants.

$25 per person seems like restaurant price. ... but restaurants are probably charging a lot more right now and the quality was on par with restaurants.

the food was mid, the only thing i enjoyed was the dumplings and the boneless spare ribs. the service was pretty slow and the cashiers were sitting on the floor for some reason? it was pretty empty, and it took so long for food to be put out again. the desert selection is so sad. the only thing i enjoyed from there was the pistachio ice cream and that was it. the pinapple was also canned so it was pretty sour. we spent 152.09 for 6 PEOPLE. 6 PEOPLE. what an insane price for mediocre food. dont come here, go to some other small classic...
