The atmosphere was ok. The waitress was good so the following has nothing to do with her. I asked for a menu bc my mother rather look at an actual menu than a QR code menu. The waitress said the physical menu has old prices and they’re changing the prices now but the QR code menu was up to date. Ok. When the check came we were charged two dollars more for each item so $4 extra. I told the waitress and she was not aware there was an issue with the menu prices on the qr code menu and told me to speak to the manager if I wanted to. I did and he apologized and asked me if I wanted a refund for the $4 over charge which I said yes but he kept telling me how they’re changing menus and kept apologizing but would not make a gesture to give back the overcharge dollars. I told him again I’ll take the refund and either he played dumb and pretended not to hear me but he kept talking and then talking to someone else but no gesture to provide a refund. I left and not coming back. The food was just ok. The Boricua burrito was only tasty in the middle so for $17 when it was supposed to be $15 that’s a D-. The margarita was very good. This is the second restaurant that does the same and...

My husband and I went to Tijuana’s—the Carolina location—and we were welcomed warmly and given chips and salsa to start our meal. As we were eating it, I noted to my husband that I did not care for the salsa; it was not good to me.
I ordered the Enchilada Fajitas and the waitress said it came with a cheese sauce and another sauce. When my meal arrived, it was flooded in the red salsa that I did not like. I asked her if I could have the red sauce removed or a different plate of the same without the sauce. The manager said that the owner’s policy was if the customer did not pay for it, the waiter would have to pay for it…which is completely WRONG and UNFAIR. This policy needs to be changed.
Thankfully, another staff member helped me by replacing my plate and stated they would not charge the waitress. I’m sincerely thankful for that.
My husband’s fish tacos and chicken wings were good. And, even my enchiladas were good without the red sauce. I didn’t like the salsa.
However, Mr. Alex Gómez, that particular policy needs...
Read moreWhat can I say but what happened to this place? It used to be great food and service. Went Friday afternoon and the place was almost empty, that should have been a warning ⚠️ right there. We are a family of 4 with teenagers that are always hungry. The first thing, we were seated promptly. I had to get the attention of a waiter just for the menus and water. Then he proceeds to tell me you have to scan the QR code for menu. I asked him for a written menu and he looked at me strangely and brings 1 menu. I proceed to ask him for 3 more and 2 in English for my teenagers. They did not have any and you have to scan the QR code for the English menu. That's just crazy! Ordered our meals, and it was blahhhh. The Mexican rice was room temperature and tasted like old from the day before. All our dishes were just blah and not great at all what it used to be begore. Sorry to check this place off our list of places to eat. We travel frequently to PR and this place used to be...
