Ponderosa — Restaurant in Carolina

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY I cannot even describe how horrible Ponderosa has gotten. I used to eat here at least once a month when I was younger, but then quarantine hit and I couldn’t visit in almost a year. I decided to visit since other options were full. Boy was this a mistake. The salad bar was horrible, cold and just sad. The service was terrible. The salad bar lady was the worst. I accidentally dropped a spoon and they went to my table to give me a warning? I at least hoped that the ribs I ordered would be decent but no. I couldn’t even finish half of it. This is the last time im going to a Ponderosa. Do NOT recommend. Please do me a favor and steer clear of this...

From the "service" to the term of the steak this was an awful experience. After 54 minutes waiting for the steak, it came smaller than expected, and well done instead of medium well. The waitress indicated that if I wanted a better steak I should ask for a higher quality one. BTW, the wiaitress ignored us most of the time. The manager offered another steak but the waiting time for first one, about an hour, made imposible for us to wait another steak. We ordered the steaks with potatoes and salad bar. The steaks could have been a little more flavorful. They also offer salad bar with some meals or you can add on as well. There is a variety of things you can order. The salad bar buffet does have fruit but not dessert. Food came out quickly. We also got the Choco loco for dessert which was good.
