IHOP — Restaurant in Carolina

We walked in to the front desk, one else was waiting ahead of us at that point. Waited 5 minutes, and then a woman nonchalantly walked to the desk. She looked at us, by then there were 6 people behind us, and She then Completely ignored us and got on the phone. Another person, nonchalantly walked by us, a couple minutes later and we told her we'd like to be seated. She was indifferent and pointed to table as she kept walking and no eye contact. We sat there looking at the menu for 15 MINUTES while several servers walked right by us, making no eye contact. The restaurant was half full and there were plenty of servers and they definitely didn't looked rushed. Someweree just standing at a customer's table talking and talking and talking.....They weren't that busy. This was the most bizarre restaurant where almost all the staff seemed to not want to be there or want us there or were just clueless.... Also, the person who seated us walked by several times, glanced at us with a snooty look, and kept walking before I could get her attention. Typically, what should've happened is that she ask us if we've had our order taken Yet, and she would've got a server to help us. She just didn't give a cr*p. 20 minutes and not even a hello or a drink order. At this point I wondered how long it would be to get our food. I have only walked out of a restaurant once about 35 years ago. Today made the 2nd time. It was That Bad. I will Never go back to...

Craptastic.

Slow, disingenuous service and poor quality product.

This is really not a review I wanted to edit because I did enjoy my previous visits to the restaurant, but I had two more visits were the quality had severely dipped. The waitress was clearly not interested in serving us, the food took forever and I had to return my girlfriends burger TWICE because she changed the cheese and then it came back cold.

Hey, I get that we came in close to closing time that one time, but one hour early to closing time is NOT a justifiable time to give such poor service. The staff was more busy joking around and cleaning up than serving us. There wasn't even a host for and easy 15 minutes when we walked in.

Sorry, but you won't get another visit from me.

Previous review: I was surprised by the quality of the food as well as the service. It's been a while since I genuinely enjoyed a plate a food simply for what it is and received service that was on equal levels helpful and un-intrusive. I disliked nothing about the food that I had, and I even got a taste of what my partner was having (She chose to have some pasta) and it was surprisingly good.

IHOP's strength seems to lie in the simplicity of their plates, and the agility of their service, this restaurant was no exception.

I WILL be returning to the restaurant. Here's hoping my repeat visit...

Good food always, fast service, great atmosfere and awesome prices.

UPDATE 5 YRS LATER: Literally you can d&d (wish I didn't) cause there was just one server dealing with 7 tables and she takes all her time in the kitchen, Slow service, overcook food, smaller portions and higher prices, Slow refills, She takes to long for even give the tickets and take the money, There were 2 other girl employees with excersice clothes in and out the restaurant ((when we came they were working but I guess their shift ended) bit they were with showie clothes (today thursday oct 27 2022)

IN THIS COLOBOS RESTAURANT IHOP NEEDS MORE SERVERS, a person all the time on the front desk and I guess another cook and that be carefull with not overcook the menu.

AND AN APPLE JUICE AT $4.60 is too much!!! And it was no refill, With that I can buy a 64 oz Motts.
