Golden Chick — Restaurant in Carrollton

I have to really tell y'all something tonight Golden Chick is the bomb and I mean this too I'm real I don't fake around when it come down to chicken this is one of the top of the line I'm not playing. This is what happened to me this is the first time I ever ate from Golden Chick I walked up to the cashier and the cashier was so sweet and friendly and I also kind to me I ordered some chicken fingers and french fries and I also they gravy old man man man I don't make no sense how good that gravy is and when you dip it put the fingers inside the gravy almost hurt myself and the homemade rolls it makes you think about Grandma back in the days I almost cried when I ate one of them homemade rolls and put some butter and honey I shook my head. I sure wish I can shake the owner's hand and tell him Golden Chick got it goin on. So when you asked me my experience I just got to keep it real and be very honest cuz you're going to hurt yourself when you eat at Golden Chick is so good I'm for the hurt myself now just by thinking about it. What I'm really saying is my experience was great, the cashier was excellent, the food was fantastic and the temperature of the food awesome all I'm just trying to do is get you ready preparing you for your experience and let you know how satisfy you going to be hoping you can handle finger licking Golden Chick five star chicken place of business thumbs...

This was an inside order for to go. I had ordered the $20.99 limited-time offer family meal that came with 12 chicken tenders, one family side, and three yeast rolls and a free ice cream cone. The chicken tenders can either be normal or spicy– in my case I got half spicy and half normal. The staff didn't greet me, I had to walk up to the cash register before I was actually noticed and not with a "hello" either, however they were friendly and smiled. It took about 7 minutes to receive my food. The food was still hot when I got home (about a 10 minute drive). Instead of 3 rolls, I received 4! The rolls were soft, hot and buttery! I received the total 12 tenders, but about half were very small , no bigger than my pinky finger and some tenders had large patches without breading (the image included with hand comparison are full tenders). The mashed potatoes were very crumbly but tasted well. The spicy chicken tenders were very spicy! Normally I handle spicy foods well but boy howdy I needed water nearby! The spices seem to be the same they use on the Tallahassee hot chicken sandwich. I love chicken tenders but I would rate these about average and the mashed potato side as nothing to write home about. So I’ll start with the store closed 20 minutes early the worker stated that first they didn’t have wicked wings and once given my fish I told my boyfriend to make sure I had a roll and I didn’t he asked her could I get one he would pay I hear it all cause I’m on the phone, she stated that they are out of rolls because they decided to close early so at this point I’m beyond irritated and I call and ask for manager on duty. She stated she was the manager and I asked why was they out of so many items she said because they closed early I told her that was a huge deal breaker for me and that should have been said in drive through before ordering I asked if I came back tomorrow could this be made right she said you can come get roll but no more fish as if u was trying to get free food so I told her I was gone have him bring the food back and issue a refund and I’ll just place order tomorrow when they aren’t rushing to close early and I can have my fish and roll together.
