Hungry House — Restaurant in Carrollton

I've been searching for a truly authentic Indian restaurant in our area, and I'm thrilled to have finally found one. The newly opened Hungry house is an absolute gem that delivers an unparalleled dining experience.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're immersed in the vibrant sights, sounds, and aromas of India. The elegantly decorated dining room, complete with intricate patterns, warm lighting, and traditional artwork, creates an atmosphere that feels a world away.

But the real star of the show is the food. The menu is economic, offering a tantalizing selection of classic North + South Indian dishes as well as some more unique regional specialties. My family and I recently visited, and every dish we tried was an absolute delight.

We started with the samosas - perfectly crisp pastry shells filled with seasoned potatoes and peas. The flavors were bold and perfectly spiced. For our mains, I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which was incredibly tender and swimming in a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce. My wife raved about her Vegetarian Kolhapuri, with its complex blend of aromatic spices and fresh, vibrant veggies.

Perhaps most impressive was the naan bread - light, fluffy, and beautifully charred from the tandoor oven. We couldn't resist ordering multiple rounds to soak up every last bit of those...

Everything about Hungry House was excellent. Customer service is very good here. The men definitely know how to treat and accommodate their guest at the restaurant. They explain the menu very well without an attitude like most places. Food has always been hot, fresh, and tasty. I even asked what another guest was eating, and he gave me a sample to try. I love this place. I am so happy that it is walking distance from my job so I can visit more often. I recommend Hungry House to dine at. The prices are not bay, portions are just ok. Food prep takes a little longer than it should about 30-45 min. The thing that upset me most is that the person taking the order and delivering the food to our table was obviously sick. we are not just talking allergies, this guy was SICK, coughing, sniveling no mask. NO telling if he was cooking the food or just serving it. But now 3 days later my wife and I have the same cough and runny sinuses that server had. NOT A...
