If you live in Carrollton, or just work or go to college here, you're probably aware of how awful the Maple St. McDonald's is. Well, this one is quickly becoming worse. Some of the employees are quick to roll their eyes and grunt and groan if you say, "Excuse me, I ordered something different."
I was here last month and ordered a hot mocha latte. The woman at the register went to make it, and then yelled to the person working the drive-thru window, "HOW DO I MAKE THE MOCHA-THING?" Not something you want to hear at any food establishment. She apparently didn't know how to make any of the mixed coffee drinks, and everyone was waiting about ten-fifteen minutes for their orders as a result.
I went here again a week ago and ordered an iced mocha latte. This time I was in the drive-thru, and when I pulled around I got the same woman as last time. She asked, "What's so special about it?" Now, to me, that sounds like an opinionated question. Like she just wanted to chat. A bit nonplussed, I said that I just enjoy chocolate and coffee. She didn't say anything, and closed the window. She comes back with a hot latte, and I said, "I'm sorry, but could I get this iced?" Then I had to show her my receipt, and she snapped, "I asked what was so special about it!" I wanted to ask, "Then why not ask if it's a hot or iced drink?" but before I could she rolled her eyes and slammed the sliding window. After a long wait I got an iced caramel latte, with 1/3 of the cup being filled with caramel sauce. I wouldn't be surprised if at that point she did it on purpose. I pulled up to the litter bin and threw it away. I don't get why she got so upset at me for kindly requesting the correct...

Read moreI stopped at this McDonald’s and walked into the store that is advertising that the dining room is open now. I went in because I needed to use the restroom and wanted a drink for my short journey. I used the restroom and washed my hands but was unable to dry them because the paper towel dispensers (2 of them) were empty and the “air dryer “ on the wall was not working properly. I then walked out to the counter and waited. There was no one in line and TWO DIFFERENT employees looked at me , never spoke to me and then continued on like I was invisible. One of these people appeared to be a manager. I waited over 5 minutes, which is not a long time unless you are being ignored. If you don’t have the staff to wait on customers at the counter and all you are doing is the drive through, lock the dining room door. Don’t advertise that I can come and be served if that...
