Read moreAs a Salvadoran I am very picky with my pupusas. I was skeptical trying a new place but boy am I glad I did!!! The pupusas were amazing. The burnt cheese oozing out the side, they were super fresh, the masa was perfect, they did not skimp out on the fillings. It was just delicious. The Curtido was so good too. I also tried their quesadilla bread and that is the best I’ve ever tried as well. It was so soft and moist. I also had platano Fritos, the platanos weren’t brown enough tbh. Platano fritos should be brown and very squishy, these were not. It might be all they had though so no biggie. Will definitely be coming here when I want pupusas! I did find it to be a bit pricey, my Receipt did not have a breakdown, but for 3 pupusas, a side of platano(came with creama & beans, NO cheese)& a quesadilla it was $35. It was all so good though. Service was also fantastic. I did to go and the sweet ladies were calling me by my name. Very professional even though they were very busy! Will be...
Read moreOh my goodness, did I ever "happen" upon a hidden jewel in Carrollton! This is a wonderful small, family-owned business. It is evident that Eduardo and his while family take much pride in each and every menu item they prepare and serve. The pupusas are top quality and the flavor is superb! I Luke the pork and cheese the most. The cabbage salad has a wonderful cumin flavor and just enough spice. They make their own chorizos. They are also very selective in any 3rd party items they sell, and I must say the flan and the quesitos were exquisite! Eduardo told me he is hoping to move the restaurant to a larger space and hire more employers. His dream is to go back to El Salvador one day and open a restaurant combing Dalvadoran recipes of Doña Lola, his mother, with American fare. You will be delighted to meet Eduardo, his mother and father and to enjoy the good food at...
