Had a great lunch here. We ordered several pupusas (revueltas, frijol, loroco, camaron) as well as some plantains. Everything was delicious. We had a lot of leftovers because due to a language barrier, we ended up with seven pupusas instead of four. No big deal since reheated pupusas was just as delicious. The only suggestion would be to not pile on all the pupusas on top of each other on one plate. They sell large Mexican Coke bottles. Each table has a jug of slaw with tongs to be used to accompany the pupusas. The atmosphere was nice, as there were several posters of various famous sites and places in El Salvador. The restaurant was well kept and the service was very friendly.

I tried both the pork and cheese pupusas as well as the shrimp pupusas at this restaurant. The portion was great! I couldn’t eat more than too. I also tried the horchata, and it was sweeter than what I'm used to, so I couldn’t finish the drink. The service deserves five stars as the staff checked up on us multiple times, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. One point to note is that water costs $0.50, and there were no refills. So, if you're planning to stay hydrated, keep that in mind. Despite that, the overall experience was great, and I would definitely recommend trying their delicious pupusas!

My experience at Dona Lola was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the waitstaff was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The highlight of our meal was the delicious shrimp dish that was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Accompanied by fluffy rice, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, it created a delightful plate. The accompanying sauce added just the right touch of flavor. Overall, Dona lola exceeded my expectations with its fantastic service and mouthwatering food. I can't wait to return!

If you're craving a taste of El Salvador that's sure to leave you satisfied, look no further than Pupusas De Doña Lola. From the moment you step through the door, the aroma of delicious, authentic Salvadoran dishes fills the air, promising a culinary experience like no other.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pupusas de Doña Lola and I can confidently say that you will not be disappointed. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, from the rich spices to the fresh ingredients, all expertly combined to create dishes that transport you straight to El Salvador.

One standout dish was the pupusas, perfectly crafted pockets of masa filled with savory delights like cheese, beans, and pork. Each bite was a taste of tradition, reminiscent of El Salvador.

But the culinary journey didn't stop there, it was served with a side of tangy curtido that perfectly complemented its flavors. And let's not forget about the platanos fritos, golden and caramelized to perfection, offering a delightful balance of sweetness and savoriness.

With each bite, I found myself already planning my next visit. You can bet that I'll be back for more of 'Pupusas de Doña delicious offerings. So if you're in search of authentic Salvadoran cuisine that will leave you craving more, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Trust me, you won't be...

As a Salvadoran I am very picky with my pupusas. I was skeptical trying a new place but boy am I glad I did!!! The pupusas were amazing. The burnt cheese oozing out the side, they were super fresh, the masa was perfect, they did not skimp out on the fillings. It was just delicious. The Curtido was so good too. I also tried their quesadilla bread and that is the best I’ve ever tried as well. It was so soft and moist. I also had platano Fritos, the platanos weren’t brown enough tbh. Platano fritos should be brown and very squishy, these were not. It might be all they had though so no biggie. Will definitely be coming here when I want pupusas! I did find it to be a bit pricey, my Receipt did not have a breakdown, but for 3 pupusas, a side of platano(came with creama & beans, NO cheese)& a quesadilla it was $35. It was all so good though. Service was also fantastic. I did to go and the sweet ladies were calling me by my name. Very professional even though they were very busy! Will be...

Oh my goodness, did I ever "happen" upon a hidden jewel in Carrollton! This is a wonderful small, family-owned business. It is evident that Eduardo and his while family take much pride in each and every menu item they prepare and serve. The pupusas are top quality and the flavor is superb! I Luke the pork and cheese the most. The cabbage salad has a wonderful cumin flavor and just enough spice. They make their own chorizos. They are also very selective in any 3rd party items they sell, and I must say the flan and the quesitos were exquisite! Eduardo told me he is hoping to move the restaurant to a larger space and hire more employers. His dream is to go back to El Salvador one day and open a restaurant combing Dalvadoran recipes of Doña Lola, his mother, with American fare. You will be delighted to meet Eduardo, his mother and father and to enjoy the good food at...
