Ruchi Palace — Restaurant in Carrollton

It was worst experience of mine tonight at this place i wished Mobin Jivani Suleman Bhawani and another restaurant owner of Mai Colachi who just opened this new restaurant called Ruchi Palace in Carrolton I told them I love your place I like this venue they offered me to have food I said no I just came from someone’s birthday dinner party I m full I just came to hear the Sufi concert Than one of my well wisher and best friend who called me and told me come here and sit with me I have one seat empty for u and I sit with their group Than I was getting pics with photographer than Suleman Bharwani called me come right now right away I did so than he told me u r not welcomed and it’s private event I told him I have donation money he Mobin jiwani told me it’s 100 $ minimum I said ok I would pay he said u supposed to pay first than tell me how come I entered their building infront of three owners I know they have done this to take revenge from me Coz I did put bad reviews about Mai colachi bad customer service in 2022 when I came on Sunday night with my two friends husband and wife both r eye witness they didn’t serve us food on time they put our table on hold more than an hour and every fifteen minutes they come with the message we r very sorry we don’t have it than they come back after fifteen minutes we don’t have it in the restaurant so we ordered 5 items they said we don’t have it in restaurant and telling us after 15 minutes and I left them reviews about their restaurant and they took revenge from me on this personal matter So I they have done their job and I have done my job So we r equal I won’t suggest and my friends and family to come to Ruchi palace or mai colachi Thanks and...

Ordered Uber from this restaurant at 9:55 on Saturday to get food for me and my son. The acceptance of the order happened around 10pm well within the closing time of 1030. Waiting to receive my order and finally it arrived at 11:10pm. It was wrong order completely and Uber driver informed that he picked up this order from the ground outside the restaurant. There was nobody to answer. Then I called Uber and they decided to refund my amount and could not speak to anybody in the restaurant. I called the owner next morning and she said to call Uber and get refund, obviously the purpose of my call was to find out what happened and not take a refund from them. She disclosed that she was not there but it was some other customers order that Uber driver picked and delivered to me. She further disclosed that restaurant never accepted my order and Uber defaulted to accept the order. This does not ever happen, basically the restaurant accepted the order and then chefs walked away without preparing it. End of the day, me and my son had to sleep without eating as we did not get any item from $50 order we spent. It would be great if people can understand as Indian restaurant owner that such acts lead to losing trust and post a very bad image about how things are mismanaged. I am not someone who writes such reviews on public sites, rather talk to the owner and find solutions that it never happens again. Ordered Goat Dum Biryani. Food was cold. Not fresh at all. Don't know when it was made. Food was made extremely spicy that I couldn't eat it properly and it burned my mouth badly. Looks like they just added a lot of cayenne/red pepper powder. The cold and the extremely spicy food caused a lot of health problems - Diarrhea, Fever, Headache, etc.

The Goat Dum Biryani was not made how Dum Biryanis are made. It was just white rice and goat curry. This is so dishonest and deceitful (and fraudulent in my opinion). When I spoke to their staff, Harika (think she is the manager) and Santosh, they admitted to the fact that it was not Goat Dum Biryani and that it was just white rice and goat curry. There were too many bones and not enough goat meat. Dishonest and Deceitful.

For the order that I placed for Goat Dum Biryani, they had a promotion running, Buy One Get One Free Biryani Valid till 31st August. They sent me only one Biryani instead of two. So very dishonest and deceitful. It is also theft in my opinion.

When I spoke to their staff (Harika and Santosh) about all the issues, and after a bit of going back and forth, losing a lot of my valuable time, they assured me that the owner (Nandu) will take care of everything. Spoke to the owner. Long story short, he gave me the runaround quite a bit, wasting a lot of my valuable time and didn't take care of anything as promised.

Based on my experience, my suggestion is to avoid this place...
