The Ohio Grille — Restaurant in Carrollton

My family and I are from out of town but own a cabin nearby. We always looked forward to eating at Smoke (the burger place in the building before Ohio Grille) because it was delicious, friendly, and clean. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Ohio Grille. As we walked in we notice the horribly dirty, sticky floor and dirty tables despite the restaurant being empty and staff standing behind the counter. At the register we were shown one wrinkled, stained, BBQ sauce smeared menu with prices that did not match the menu overhead. Once my husband and I decided what we wanted to order we were disappointed that both our first and second choices of appetizers unavailable. We both went to wash our hands before eating and, while the women's bathroom was bearable but NOT clean, the men's was much worse. Despite the chicken on my chicken sandwich being dry and the sandwhich being bland, our burger and chicken quesadilla were delicious. We also enjoyed a chocolate milkshake until we got to the bottom of the shake and found a large metal piece of the milkshake machine was at the bottom waiting for us. The staff was apologetic and overall pretty nice but we will not be returning or recommending for our families. Update! Purchased two salads and wings yesterday and everything was fresh and delicious as always. The wings are crunchy and full of flavor, and my salad was huge and full a fresh ingredients. Wonderful to have close by as a great food option. First visit to Ohio grill and it was really good. The guy behind the counter was helpful and answered our questions about flavors and preferences. 17 kinds of milk shakes surprised us and when we saw the 4 that came out during our time there, we saw why, they looked delicious! On Saturday, the daily special was $1 of melts and we split a cod melt. Tasty fish, tarter sauce, fresh tomato slice and lettuce made it so good. The bread is toasted which added a great crunch. Definitely a new go-to place to eat! The staff was extremely friendly! The service was fast! The food was amazing! The whole place was clean, modern, well kept, and organized! I ordered the Reuben and fries and this was by far the best Reuben and fries I’ve ever had! The bun is toasted and buttery, the corned beef is tender and juicy, the sauerkraut is the right amount of tangy and sweet, and the fries were crispy and golden.
