Denny's — Restaurant in Carson City

If I could do half stars, this would reflect 2.5 stars. The service has sharply declined here. I understand being short staffed, a lot of businesses are; however, messing up online orders more than once is getting to be too much. I don't mind small mishaps but when you order stuff and it's so burnt that it's not edible, that's disappointing. It's a waste of money and not worth the drive in to get it fixed.

I had an order earlier this year where they completely left out more than half the meal. We got a small portion of fries, no chicken and was again missing a portion of the breakfast plate ordered. I decided to give them another opportunity and this latest one was disappointing. Ordered a specialty dish, missing some key components. The other disappointment was the strawberry pancake bites. They were tiny and burnt to the point that they tasted awful. Had to trash them.

Please slow down, even if it means taking an extra minute or two to get stuff out to the tables or ready for to-go orders. I hate leaving these type of reviews, but I do know that sometimes a negative review or two will help with re-evaluating situations and making changes to benefit the...

The cook wanted to have the waitress charge me for a cob salad when I ordered a lg. regular salad. Kudos for her not doing that. Found hair in my salad first go around. Waitress told me there’s no hair. I pointed it out and she said she didn’t have her glasses to see it. Gravy was cold on my son’s meal. Whatever, we can take it home and heat that up. But what really got my goat, was after the other waitress got there, the cook, and the two waitresses were talking horribly about other coworkers and using language that kids didn’t need to hear that where in the restaurant. I did have a discussion with my waitress about it and she tried playing it off like she wasn’t apart of it until I called her out. The whole restaurant could hear them. There wasn’t many people in there. I told her they need to learn manners and not talk about that stuff and how bad they talked about other employees to where customers hear it and they need to take it up with management. The owner needs to get ahold of this. This is not okay. I’ve been going there since 2001 and will not be going back ever...

For 65 years dennys has been a american dinner favoriate. Lets explain why this one is not. The server did not know the menu told us that they didnt serve there spicy brisket sanwich thats on there menu followed by "o i didnt know we had that." Same went for the brisket mac and cheese. Wife ordered berry french toast slam wich looked nothing like the menue was missing ingredients. Sat us down with spanish only menu. And we had to go get our own english menu. Asked us if we would like extra plates we said no followed by her bringing them and saying im bringing thease incase you change your mind. Waited 15minutes after ordering to tell us theres no sauce for the brisket orders which was not smoked brisket it was corned beef that had been chopped up and burnt.
