I’ve been going to Carson City CrossFit since 2014 (although I did take a few-year break in between).

When I first started the gym, I knew nothing about fitness. I was pretty overweight, I just quit smoking and I had no cardio endurance. I couldn’t even run 400m without stopping to catch my breath. But even though it was hard work, I felt strong for the first time in my life.

Back then, I never thought it would be possible for me to do a pull-up or anything like that. I felt like I was too far gone and it was out of my realm. But as I kept showing up and putting in the work, I slowly learned how to do all these movements and exceeded my expectations. In fact, I recently placed second in a CrossFit competition and got to stand on the podium for the first time in my life!

The CCCF coaches take time to make sure that every member learns the skills, gets better and feels comfortable doing it. All of the movements are scalable and this is a great fitness program for any person at any starting point. I can tell you firsthand that the owners work incredibly hard to make sure that everyone gets what they need.

But the absolute best part of this gym is the amazing supportive community. We all help each other, build each other up and grow together as a team. I’ve never been anywhere like this in my life.

When you have a gym that you love being at, it’s not like work. It’s fun… and I couldn’t imagine life without it.

I’m so thankful for CCCF and everything it has done for me. I’ve built so much mental strength, resilience, and confidence over the years and it literally changed my life.

This place is more than just a gym, it's a game-changer. The coaches know what they're talking about and truly want to bring out the best in every single person who walks through that door. Since day one, I felt like part of the Carson City CrossFit family. The community here is incredibly supportive, and there’s zero judgment—just encouragement, good vibes, high-fives, sick 6 am dance breaks, and a shared goal of getting better... together.

Whether you're a total beginner with zero experience or someone who’s been doing the lifting thing/crossfitting thing for years, the coaches meet you where you’re at and help you improve safely and confidently. The workouts are challenging in the best way and really push you to your limits some days. But the best thing is that I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in both my overall fitness and my everyday mindset since joining CCCF.

One of the best parts of my day is to complete my work out at Carson City CrossFit. I am a senior and the Coaches stimulate my work out while minimizing getting hurt. The 9:OO AM class is my favorite always fun and exiting very challenging and rewarding. Love the friendly competition atmosphere and at the same time if I have to toned down that particular day no problem there are multiple options to substitute and make the work out feasible. Now its has ben over 10 years cxfit and main main goal is to maintain fitness and health while having a fun stimulating work out. Carson City Cxfit delivers all the time. I began in order to get stronger at mountain biking boarding and skiing. Now my main sport is practicing cxfit .Here is to many more years of lifting reaching a 500 #dead lift, achieving graceful snatch and learning double unders. I also wish to get to fluid butterfly pull ups and many more movements... I know I am at the right box to complete my...
