Boy do I got a review to write. I was looking for a lunch spot nearby but didn't want to get fast food, so I went searchin and found this place and gave it a shot. The place seems to be run by a cute couple and they seem to make all their food from scratch right when you order so you know the food is nice and fresh. It does take a little longer than a fast food place but if I wanted food that takes 2 minutes to be ready, I would just eat microwaveable food.
I wanted fried rice, my brother wanted a sandwich, and we both wanted some friend chicken so we ordered all three and let me tell you we could not stop stealing a bite out of each others food.
First, the Kimchi Chibap. Absolutely delicious. Never thought of eating kimchi fried rice with chicken but man I've been missing out. Kimchi fried rice is cooked to perfection. Not too spicy but not bland. Chicken on top means I can hit my macros and get some protein for the bulk. Comes with a side of steamed eggs which is a perfect touch.
Second, the sandwich that I stole half of from my brother. We opted for grilled over fried since we were getting fried chicken. Mouth watering. I usually tend to need water to take down a chicken sandwich but this was perfectly tender and soft. Included a whole host of vegis which had tons of flavor. They give you this special sauce that goes perfectly with the sandwich (just a little bit went a long way for me).
Last but not least, the fried chicken. Its fried chicken.. do I need to write more..? It was so juicy and perfectly tender once again but nice a crispy on the outside, which was surprising because I got it to-go and most to-go fried chicken loses some of its crispiness and gets a little soggy when you get home.
10/10 recommend. Cute store, friendly staff, and amazing food. This is definitely going to be a go-to...
Read moreIt was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.
I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.
The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.
I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.
We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a...
Read moreFirst of all, the lady which I’m assuming is the owner is so kind and sweet. She’s very attentive and asks everyone if the food is good. Great customer service.
The dining area is small with a few tables and chairs, but it’s clean.
Food took about 15-20mins but there were about 4-5 orders ahead of us. Our order came out very fresh and hot.
Signature chicken sandwich was great! Chicken was juicy! Loved that it was stuffed and had flavor. It had some kind of slaw in it, not sure if it’s the same one on the side menu, but it was so good. I hate buying chicken sandwiches from places and it only has a dry chicken in it. Nope, not this place. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Amazing. The level 2 sauce it comes with on the side is also quite good. Very smart that they put it on the side just in case people can’t handle spicy. The sandwich itself had a bit of spice but nothing crazy. The side sauce had some kick and it wasn’t even the spiciest sauce on the menu.
Only downside is that there is no restroom? At least I didn’t see one, unless it’s outside? I’m unsure.
Overall, I’d definitely come back again when...
