McDonald's — Restaurant in Carthage

I ordered my secret indulgence, double quarter pounder add mayo sub diced onions. I don't eat at McDonald's regularly and it's even more rare that I order my indulgent burger(way too many calories to eat even semi-regularly). On this visit it had been sometime since I had eaten anything from McDonald's other than a milk shake. Somehow they managed to burn the quarter meat so badly (both patties) that there were hard, hard, hard, chunks of meat throughout the meat. Most of the meat was too hard to eat and it tasted really bad. Food gets 2 stars instead of one because my chocolate milk shake was as good as always. The service was good. The person taking the order over the headset did great. They didn't ask, "is that all/anything else after every single item ordered, which is great. Most fast food places nowadays do that. (I understand why they try to speed up the ordering process, but if corporate or whoever decides the unreasonable time limit they have to take, make, and send out the food, 1. it wouldn't make the customer feel rushed 2. It wouldn't be added stress on the employees when they go over their allotted time 3. It would improve the overall customer/employee interaction.) The person who took my money read my order to make sure it was right and was nice and professional. The person handing out the food made sure we had straws, napkins, and sauce/ketchup! They appeared to be in a good mood and it was overall a positive interaction! It's hard to judge the atmosphere of the whole restaurant from the drive through, but from the employees I encountered it's at least average or above for the customer, but I've worked at McDonald's and they do not treat their employees...

Not the best place for great service. Half the time the workers get my order wrong and they're rude while doing so. That's the way it is in most fast food places in Greenwood. It's abundantly clear mist of them hate their job in the fast food industry and they want you to know how exactly miserable they are by being rude to you.

McDonald's frequently turns into a zoo during the weekends after midnight. If you're like me and crave a late night snack and McDonalds is the only place one, beware the hoodlums. After a night of partying they go to McDonalds and proceed to show us exactly how bad a job their parents/grandparents did of raising them. There have been times where the law has been called to McDonalds because of misconduct while I was simply waiting for my food. I have seen some things I wish I could erase from my memory. Especially that time I saw a plump girl in a very short skirt, legs spread wide, with a chubby boy grinding on her while she was laid out on the hood of a car. IN THE DRIVE THROUGH LINE. I'm sure whoever is reading this review has their own stories consisting of these types of...

This may be the worst McDonald’s in the state! It would take an incredible amount of convincing to make me ever go there again. I rather would get steamrolled seventy two times than eat at this particular establishment. It would take Ronald McDonald himself giving me millions of dollars in cash to ever go there again! I am utterly astonished and disgusted at the fact I place order THIRTY FIVE MINUTES IN ADVANCE because I KNEW this MCDONALDS would take FOREVER! They cancelled my order when I got there and all I ordered was a Big Mac and nuggets and it took them forever! They gave me mostly the wrong order, lacking an item and giving me a coke that tasted like carbonated water, this worker gave me a glare when I got my food and was so rude. The service was so slow they had people pull ahead to wait forever for their order and I believe they were so far behind on orders that they just cancelled mine because of their laziness. They should either hire more/different staff, or shut down the whole restaurant. They move on par with the haste of my paraplegic 87 year old GRANDMA! *in this picture is my grandmother...
