I have ordered from this store so many times in the past with no issues, but this last experience has unfortunately tainted my view so much, that I cannot let it go.
After an extremely hard day of working from home plus simultaneously homeschooling my kindergartener, I opted to order pizza instead of cooking dinner. I placed my order at 5pm and it said it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes it had still not arrived, but by then it was raining quite hard so I figured they were delayed...no big deal. At 5:50 it was still not here so I checked the online tracker and it said “order complete”. They had mentioned it would be a contactless delivery but in the past they had always rang my doorbell. I checked my porch... nothing was there.
At this point I figured that there had been a mixup, so I called the store. I spoke with Natalie and explained the situation and she put me on hold so that she could try the delivery person. I was on hold for about 5 minutes when the phone disconnected. I called back and Solomon answered. I explained that I had been working with Natalie and the line has gotten disconnected. Instead of getting her he made me explain the situation to him and then he told me that there had been a mixup and that they were very busy so they would not be able to remake my order for a while. I asked if there was a way they could prioritize my order since I had already been waiting over an hour and even offered to come pick it up. He said “it would probably be best if you just get your money back”. I politely expressed frustration and he said “actually your driver has your food and he’s going to be leaving here in just a second”, which made zero sense to me, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said thank you for helping me and disconnected the call.
I then wait yet again for my food to be delivered. 30 minutes goes by and nothing. At this point my spouse steps in and calls to speak to a manager. He speaks with someone who does not give us his name. This person says that our driver will be there in ten minutes. We go outside to watch for someone driving a dominos car so that we can ensure it gets to the right place. We see no one and after 15 minutes call back. The same guy says our order was dropped off on our doorstep and did we try checking our back door? There was no pizza. Anywhere. I honestly believe that they never attempted to redeliver or rectify the situation.
I requested that my money be refunded and was told that they would provide the refund. That was three days ago and I was not only CHARGED $32 for the food that I never received, but there is a separate $27 pending charge in my account from them as well. Did I mention that I had PREPAID a 20% tip on my order??
After two and a half hours of going back and forth with the employees of this store, I gave up and made my kid a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Avoid this location. They will steal your money and likely eat your...
Read moreIf I could give a 0 I would. I order a pizza, and wings on line. They delivered me a warm/cold/old pizza. The pizza look like it was made a day before. I called the store to speak with the manager. I told the manager that my pizza was warm and not fresh. The manager told me that they was going to make me a fresh pizza and have it redelivered to me. I waited a hour and a half still no pizza. I called the store back to speak with the manager. I ask her how long would it take for my pizza to be delivered. She told me that the delivery driver said the pizza was hot. That was a lie. She then say again to me that they’re going to make me a large pizza and deliver it to me. At this point I’m over it because she said that hour and a half ago and now it’s going on 2 hours. After I got off the phone with her. I called the store back to tell her to just give me a refund. I spoke with a team leader because she had walked out for a min. I ask the team lead for corporate phone number because I didn’t like how I was being treated. They told me that they not allowed to give corporate number out over the phone, and they didn’t now it. I told him that I was recording our conversation because I was gone let corporate know what had took place he hung up on me….. It’s more to the story but just know I would not be ordering anything from dominos again. I’ve been a loyal customer and the way they treated me was not right. I tried reaching out to corporate or someone over that store no...
Read moreIt's been a long time since I got pizza from domino's, and after this experience, it'll be a long time before I do so again. At 6:07, I ordered online, and then chose curbside pickup. Their "tracker" said that it would be ready between 6:17-6:27 (estimated), so I continued working a bit. As I was leaving the house, I noticed that the tracker already said that it was ready, so I moved faster. It might have taken me around 5-6 minutes to get there, at which time I entered "here" into text messaging, and put on the hazard lights as requested. Time passed enough that I got tired of waiting, so I went into the place. The harried and very busy workers in there told me that they were very behind and hadn't really started the order. Conclusion: the tracker apparently lives in its own bubble disregarding reality. I then went back to the car, eventually putting the hazard lights back on until finally somewhere between 6:55-7:00, they brought the pizzas to the car, and told me that since it was obviously beyond their 2-minute timer for curbside, that I would get an email with a free pizza coupon. At home later, I still had the web page open and saw that their "timer" had been stopped at 6:31:42, therefore claiming 1:49 delivery time. Wow, so I won't be expecting that free pizza email any time soon then. It's ok though. I won't be getting domino's any time soon either. By the way, they had also forgotten the garlic sauce. At least my son's breath will be a...
