Guys go there if you really don’t need any hospitality! Food is avearage and top of that manager is some weird .. god knows how this restaurant is running but may be because people don’t have choice and waiting for good alternative who know hospitality business which doesn’t run on tip but quality of food , service and etiquette! They will count what you eat in buffet and services are not up to standard .. Don’t dare to ask them anything you like in buffet as extra ( they have predefined number and some one is counting your food) even which they charged like 14 usd ((woo)) for South Indian buffet having less than ordinary collection of North Indian without any naan etc .. in our case we didn’t ate too much (even saying that felt super weird ) but feed our kid with fruits who is just 2 and asked for high chair for him which they treated as qualified as extra tip ? Also they don’t have naan etc for any North Indian curry and you are supposed to eat them with dosa or Batura .. manager is super weirdo without any ettiquite will count what you eat and if your kid wanted a high chair or ate fruits of buffet but shamelessly ask tip explaining the reasons like kids taking fruits ?? Don’t mention of pathetic services when you waited to get Dosa and no refills of water even after asking and reasking .. Super hilarious and one in kind of strangest experience in this industry which is totally based upon hospitality and etiquettes but pushing customer without regret to never come back .. at time restaurants owners forgot that they are serving something which is available everywhere even at home at 10% cost but people pay extra at hotels to get treated good with good service which is already part of amount payable and taxes .. on top of that tip is paid to waiter not to restaurant which infact in these cases of buffet becomes more illogical .. .. go for ordinary buffet at more than market standard rate , treat yourself alone waiting for sides and even water refilled , ask yourselves for high chairs etc ,dare not to bring infants and pay tips .. awesome guys...
Read moreFull disclosure, this was a catering order review. Though if you were considering getting catering from this restaurant, don’t! We ordered catering for a pre-wedding event (lunch) and we made a notice to them 2 weeks in advance. To start, the food wasn’t made properly. Half of the idli were uncooked, but the rest was alright. What was more egregious was how Chandra (employee, manager, we don’t know) treated our family. We were willing to pay upfront prior to the order but he only asked that we pay upon picking up the food the day of OR after the wedding. One of our extended uncles goes to pick up the food the day of, but we were uninformed that they wanted CASH ONLY. They insisted we pay $390 cash which we had on hand. Mind you, this wasn’t mentioned when we tried to pay with card prior to the order being placed. Whatever, we pay the 390 and we get the food. About 3 days later our direct family goes to the restaurant to pay since the restaurant had also told us we can come post wedding to pay and (this one is on us) the extended uncle who paid 390 cash didn’t let us know that he had covered it. We ended up giving them an additional $350 dollars (we brought up the bad idli and they gave us a discount) and they WILLFULLY ignored that we already paid them! Neither for the $350 or $390 transactions were we offered receipts and when we tried to get our money back they had us come multiple times over for the money. They officially charged us $350 due to bad idli discount but they would NOT give us the $390 back, they only gave us the $350. It’s already bad enough to force us to make a catering payment in cash, almost scamming customers until they figure it out isn’t a good look. If you go there, make sure you ask for anyone...
Read moreThis place was sticky, humid and filthy. The food wasn’t appealing either. We went here because the locals considered it to be tasty. Unfortunately the day we went, June 30th 2018, their AC system broke. So needless to say the place was hot inside. They had couple ceiling fans going but they were slow and it was hot inside. Coming to the food, and the way it was served, nothing was appealingly. Not just the ambience the taste wasn’t there either. The entire place was dirty and sticky. My shoes were sticking to the mats around the food and everywhere. Don’t dare take a look into the kitchen when you go around the buffet. It’s weird how you’d almost have to walk thru there to go around the buffet. I wanted to walk out of the place the minute I’ve seen things in there. The bathrooms were a nightmare. The doors won’t lock and they had signs that read no soap or out of soap etc. Its sad that the bathrooms felt a little better than the restaurant itself and the buffet section. The lady that sat us, a bigger group had us at tables that were put together right at the buffet which meant we couldn’t move if there was anyone at the buffet. And when she sat us at that table it wasn’t clean. She sat us and starting bringing papers and put spoon and fork on it. We had to ask her to clean the table first and she wiped spots that she saw had stuff on it. The table was sticky the food was bad and it was entirely a horrible experience. Never going back. We had people say they didn’t think anyone could run a place like...
