I ate here a couple months ago and have been debating ever since if I should leave this review or not. I think I would want to know if I was someone else so I decided to leave it. We ordered papusas for an appetizer and they were alright. I ordered a taco salad for my meal which came out about 5 mins after the papusas. After only eating half of my papusa, I immediately dug into the taco salad. If I hadn't been looking at it as I picked through it, I would not have seen the dead roach cooked into it... I was so baffled and disgusted.... My friends and I stopped eating and were just ready to leave. We called the server over and you could tell she was mortified. She asked me if I wanted a new taco salad.... Really? I just wanted to leave. She told me to go to the register to pay. Again, REALLY? There was just a whole roach in my meal. We explained to her that we didn't think we should have to pay and she had to go get approval from her manager who was hidden in the back. I still ended up having to pay for the papusas which was ridiculous. We left & went down the street to Chilis. I will not be back at this establishment and I would be weary about eating here. Where there is one roach there is multiple roaches.

This restaurant is a Mexican and Salvadorian blend. The food: I had the shrimp, chicken, and steak plate with side a salad, rice, and bean. The rice was filling. It was fluffy, thick, and flavorful. The beans were whipped and slightly spicy. I also ordered the pork chops smoothed in onions tomatoes and peppers. It was on the Salvadorian side of the menu. The handmade tortilla was delicious. Chips, salsa, cheese dip. Name a better trio.!!! The service: Pick a seat, and the server will come to you. She was bilingual, pleasant, and super helpful with a menu. The orders were correct, hot, and timely. The atmosphere: booths and tables are available. It was a small, downhome feel. Thr arr work related mexican and Salvadorian pieces.

El Cuscatleco restaurant is known for its authentic Salvadoran cuisine, its friendly service, and its reasonable prices The menu features a wide variety of Salvadoran dishes, including pupusas, tamales, yuca frita, and more. The food was good. The dishes are flavorful and well prepared. The portions are also generous, so you are sure to leave full. I had mondongo. Overall, El Cuscatleco is a great place to go for authentic Salvadoran food and friendly service. The food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend El Cuscatleco to anyone looking for a good Salvadoran restaurant.

Delicious! My husband and I have been craving authentic El Salvadorian food ever since our honeymoon in El Salvador. El Cuscatleco did not disappoint. Everything was made fresh to order. Our server was delighted that my husband spoke spanish and I understand it. If you do not speak any you may have to be patient, it's an authentic restaurant and so Spanish is the first language spoken and English is secondary. There were others in the restaurant not speaking Spanish though so don't let it keep you away. The food is too good to miss out! We had the pupusas, tamales, yucas, and plaintains and all of it was amazing. There was not anything left on our plate. The chips and salsa were all really good. Highly recommend you stop in and give it a try, you...

These people are very dishonest,

Keep an eye with your things when you go there,

We left our daughters stroller (value $600) the waiters suggested us to place it somewhere “safe”

Unfortunately we forgot it and where looking for it for like 3 weeks until we realized we left it here at this restaurant, we called 3 times and even went there. At first they told us they had it and were going to ask the manager,

turns out they didn’t and said they throw it away, (how are you going to throw away something of value right?) the stroller had name and number in case if it got lost. But never received a call from them,

I should have never leave it here, I have left things at different restaurants and always get it back but here you will never get...
