Super Wok — Restaurant in Cary

I have been going to SUPER WOK for years and in general it has been good and filling and well prepared . Today ,my wife and I were not very hungry but had a taste for Cinese cuisine . Super wok opens all day unlike most restaurants that close at 2:30 and reopen at 4 to 5 PM Our order was for a soup each one of Hot Sour Soup and the other for an egg drop soup.... 2 egg rolls -and on repeated questioning I wanted Chinese spare ribs . The egg rolls were dry and over cooked Hot teal was very good Then came the spare ribs They were 1 inch pieces of some kind of meat --did not taste like PORK-- they were in a brown sweet sauce ..It smelled and looked BAD I told the waitress I didnt want it and why She said we had to pay the $16.00 for it She wrapped it for take out ....and as I left I told her I wouldnt take it home It was NO Good Another woam working at preparing utensils came over and asked what I would want to make up for this disaster I said plain Chicken Chow Mein.....which she prepared for take out I will never return By the way tyhe restaurant looked dirty and poorly kept up---the mens bathroom was locked and I was told f\some flimsy reasomn In a few minutes two dirty looking men (plumbers??? went in

Very bad experience needs health dept...

This is the best Chinese place I've ever been to in the Raleigh area, hands down!!! I've been here 3-4 times and it's always perfection. I literally don't order from anywhere else now. Try it and you will see the difference.

The food always arrives super hot and fresh with plentiful servings. I don't know how to explain, it's just BETTER.

Things we've tried:

-general tso (I can't go to anywhere else for general tso now. I now crave this after eating here. It's SO GOOD.)

pork lo mein (plentiful servings, delicious)

-wonton soup (guys this wonton soup is so good. They give you a HUGE container of it filled with wonton and steaming broth)

-egg rolls and spring rolls (not greasy)

-tofu dish (my sister says nobody else gets this right. She'll only order from here now)

orange chicken (delicious and they give you a HUGE side of orange sauce)

beef and broccoli (once again filled with veggies and packed with flavor

I want to try more things but the lo mein and tso are so good I end up ordering it...

In my 20 years of eating Chinese food I have never received a dish that was so unappetizing looking, inedible, and just flat out gross. It tasted worse then it looked.

This was supposed to be hibachi chicken. The vegetables were not chopped, the chicken had some kind of weird fried breading on it and everything was in a soup of cheap sauce. Worst of all the onions hadn't even been cooked/caramelized. They were flat out raw. And it was clear the chicken had been fried over an hour before the dish was assembled

A friend received his dish with a hair in it. Another friends dumplings were burnt.

I paid 17$ for this and I've gotten better food from a cheap Chinese place for 8$. In fact in my 20 years of going out for Chinese I've never had food close to this bad. Extra disappointing that this is so convenient to my house. I'll drive the additional 5-10 min for Chinese from...
