Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cary

I went to this Dunkin Donuts on Sunday 3/27. I walked in with my friend and her son. We placed our order. When I ordered the Avocado toast I was informed that they did not have any avocado so I ordered something else. I also ordered a warm caramel salted latte. I paid the bill and sat down with my friends. The girl behind the counter came over and informed me that I could not have a latte, because the machine was broken. I ordered a regular hot coffee. While I was sitting with my friends eating what we ordered and drinking our coffee when the girl came over to our table and informed us that they were going to close at 1:00 P.M on a Sunday afternoon because they did not have any employees to work there were three girls working behind the counter. It was 12:55P.M. so we took our coffees and left. I have been a Dunkin Donuts customer for a long time. I would never go back to this Dunkin Donuts ever again. This place is a disgrace to the Dunkin...

Let me start by saying I love this Dunkin NORMALLY. They are consistently good....UNTIL today. My husband went through the drive through and ordered his coffee as usual. Normally the staff hands you your coffee in the tray. Not sure why they didn't this morning...BUT the girl that handed his coffee squeezed the cup too hard, causing the lid to pop off and coffee to spill down the side of his brand new Corvette Z07. No biggie right? It's just a 100k car. It's perfectly acceptable to spill coffee on it and not apologize or act the least bit concerned. Had she apologized, given him a refund and another coffee for free or SOMETHING other than handing him 2 napkins to clean off his car...I might not be a furious as I am. We MIGHT have returned as a regular customers. This was handled poorly and we will not be returning. We were both DAILY customers. Went through the drive thru for an iced coffee and i forgot to ask for oatmilk (that's my b) when i got to the window i asked the kid to switch it to oatmilk and apologized and then i watched the kid grab the iced coffee with dairy and directly hand it to me. i then repeated "oh no could i have oatmilk" the guy then said "oh no i promise it's oatmilk" it was not but i also didn't feel like arguing with a 17 year old on the 4th of July . The kid was being stubborn so i drove to CL to have it remade when i got back in the car to go home i realized they forgot my doughnut so i drove BACK to Cary to get it and i walk in the cafe this time and the lil ginger girl making drinks is arguing with a couple that just wanted cream and sugar in their coffee. I did end up finally getting my order fixed but I worked at starbucks for 5 years and have never witnessed such laziness and bratty-ness from coffee...
