Do NOT go here for you prescriptions. My family and I have used this Walgreens for months just putting up with their BS... One time when I called I talked to the main pharmacist and told him to look my new borns insurance up on the internet in the pharmacy computer and he told me they don't have internet connecting.. yet somehow they received her script through email.. and my doctor told me they could do it as well. A few other times with mine and my fiance's insurance they had problems "proving" it was really our insurance. Every time we go to get scripts filled they don't have the correct amount or even have it in stock.. Want to get your script filled while you wait? Better be ready to wait 3 hours! And not to mention the girls that work there are gross, completely un-professional.. and their mane MALE pharmacist doesn't know ANYTHING about his job, I witnessed a poor guy in the drive through deal with this man, and he had Noooooo idea what the man was talking about.. it took him 20 mins to find his prescription that hadn't been filled in 2 days!
I quit going after they were rude to us with one of our scripts and I went to Jewel Ossco right up the road.. took them no more the 20 mins to fill my script.. and haven't had a problem with them EVER... take my advice, save your time and money.....
Read moreThe worst staff and Walgreens I have ever been too. On two occasions they gave me the wrong dose of medication and wrong medication on another. I had a slight overdose and became sick. I have tried to call the pharmacy to talk to someone but just get put on hold for over an hour. I have asked to speak to the manager and have been hung up on . The wait time is ridiculous to get your medication. I'm now sitting here with the flu and a 102 degree fever, after waiting in my car for 20 mins in the drive thru because I didn't want to contaminate people in the store, they didn't give me all my medications the doctor called in claiming they didn't have the one I was asking for even though they were all called in together . I called my doctor he did call them all in. I drove around and parked and walked in waiting another twenty mins claiming oh they didn't see that one. Also this is the third time this week they have charged an old insurance and I keep telling them it's not my insurance and they try to trick me and say I owe like $200 and now I started asking what insurance you are running not sure how they are running an old insurance that isn't even active anymore from years ago. I think they are just trying to pocket the money. This store...
Read moreI have been using walgreens in Cary for 30 years. I am a lifelong asthmatic and go thru inhalers about twice a month regularly. This month i have been dealing with a respiratory infection. So i went thru my inhalers faster tham normal. On tuesday i went to an emergency care. They prescribed me steroids, antibiotics, albuteral for my nebulizer and a new inhaler. When i went to pick them up the teller at the window told me it was illegal to give me a 3rd inhaler in a month. Even though i was prescribed it by an emergency care doctor. Suzanne denied me my inhaler and i ended up in the emergency room later that night. Today i called the pharmacy and talked to the actual pharmacist and she told me that it is absolutely NOT illegal and that i can pick up as many as needed as long as i pay out of pocket. Which i had told suzanne i would the previous day. I could understand her denying me my meds if it was a pain killer or something along those lines. But it was an inhaler. So if she wants to play inhaler police, mqybe she should be taught the rules and guidelines before she denies people...
