I normally am not one to write reviews, but this experience warranted a review. Let me start off by saying that I have frequented this location for YEARS. I haven’t recently because of the service and drive thru being open so sporadically. I also, have worked food service and have family still in food service so understand being short staffed, having a bad day, etc. I also understand working in customer service because I do that currently. But I should have listened to my intuition and went to the location on Meeting St. However, this location is conveniently located off of the highway and easier to get to when coming from a road trip. I pull up the drive thru speaker with a sign stating “speaker closed for the rest of the day :)” Ok, fine. I parked and went inside. I wasn’t greeted, just looked at. Eventually I was greeted more as a requirement, and not truly welcoming. I felt like I was a bother instantly. I spoke with Yuki and initially ordered the 43 with no peppers add mushrooms, but then wanted to switch to the Big Kahuna with no jalapeños if it made it simpler with me adding ingredients and taking away. Realizing that it didn’t help, I decided to stick with the 43. As I stood there waiting for my sub, someone came and was banging on the other side door. The employees were looking confused and it was another employee trying to get in. Once the employees realized that it was their co worker and not another customer, an audible sigh of relief was heard coming from behind the counter. Fast forward to me getting by my food. I got chips and a drink. The most pleasant experience during this entire visit was receiving a bag for me food…I actually got a smile. I got home and sat down and ate my chips while on the phone with a friend. I proceeded to unwrap my sub and it had onions and jalapeños on it. sigh I debated on whether to eat it or go back. I decided to go back to the restaurant. As I wrapped up my sub back in its paper, I noticed a piece of uncooked steak meat attached to the paper. yay I got back to the restaurant and walked in, Yuki looked at me blankly. I explained that my sandwich had jalapeños on it and she quickly stated “I didn’t write down the big kahuna.” Ok, well someone did. She offered to remake it and I declined simply because my prior experience was less than desirable, and I wanted to go to the other location on Meeting Street where they actually welcome their customers. I asked for a refund and she walked to the opposite end of the counter where the register was and started typing on it. Eventually she summoned me down to her end and asked what I had. I told her that I ate my chips because I was hungry. I thought that she was refunding the full amount of my purchase based on inconvenience and principal-nope. I only got refunded for the sub. When asked if she wanted my sub and drink back or if she wanted me to throw them away, she dismissively said I could throw them away. I left and went straight to the Meeting Street location. I will never come to this location again. However, I still stand by my notion that I should have been refunded fully. Eat at this location with caution and knowing what you are getting into based off of all the reviews. I highly recommend the location on Meeting Street that is less than 5 minutes away from...
Read moreWent here a few minutes ago on 8/31/22 5:30pm. Ordered online to save time, so naturally I figured I would just walk in and pick up my order.
Walk up to the door and it has a vague hand written sign that said something to the effect of 'no pickups only drive through'. I naturally thought this was strange so I knocked on the glass. I was standing right at the door and none of the 5 ppl inside even looked at me. Knocked a second time and the African American woman w glasses and longer hair working that shift looked at me like I was crazy and pointed towards the drive thru.
I walked up to drive thru window just trying to figure out exactly what I needed to do to get my food and the white girl with the nose ring, opened the window and also looked at me like i was crazy. She told me i needed to drive through the drive thru.
I literally got back in my car and drove around to the drive thru window. The white girl w the nose ring, again looking at me like she was lost, said to drive around again because my food was not ready yet (at this point I really wish I was making this up).
I drove around one more time and got behind a car that was already at the window. While waiting I decided I didnt want the food after all of this. Needless to say my level of trust in this locations abilities severly declined within the last 10 minutes. I pulled up and told the nose ring girl that I would just like a refund. For the next few minutes they attempted to have me drive around again and wait in the drive through line (not joking), argued about how to get me a receipt that said my order was refunded, and nose ring girl & glasses girl attempted to pry info from me on why I wanted a refund, which I finally recieved, just before glasses girl swore at me and slammed the window.
We have given this location much business over the past few years. That wont happen anymore. Would...

The fact my name was asked somehow still didn't help in getting my order. I paid and sat at the drive-thru window and noticed I didn't see anyone for a long while until someone came up to start cleaning the meat case. I honked to get his attention and asked if I was still waiting for my sandwich. He said, "he's finishing it up right now" as he looked at the grill. I got concerned because why are you looking at the grill if I ordered a #7?! So I said "finishing up a #7?", he said "oh", and grabbed a sub that had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long and just gave it to me. So someone basically made the sub, left it at the drive threw, never told anyone.. and everyone was just in their own little world while I was sitting there waiting! I know these are probably mistakes and oversights to most people, but the amount of times I've been coming here for this to happen more than not is really beyond frustrating. The blatant lack of communication and lackadaisical attitudes is so frustrating by the time I leave I'm so frustrated I end up loosing my appetite. What did you need my name for in the first place if you're not even communicating?
I've been getting more wrong orders lately than should be allowed. No way I asked for a MINI 7 ON WHEAT and I got a REGULAR 7 ON WHITE 😮💨 Didn't even realize what I was paying Can we please start repeating/confirming orders...
