My client had told me about Komana and how they offer in house made Kombucha..  I was very excited to hear about this because I LOVE Kombucha, and Komana was only minutes from my job. My first visit, I ordered mango kombucha to go.  It was pretty good because it had carbon fizz that I love. The second time I went I decided to go all in and order the large glass bottle of Kombucha to go.  They mistakenly poured me a glass of the mango kombucha, as one of the workers thought that was what I ordered. The other worker who was filling my bottle saw what was happening and said... no worries, It's on the house. When I took a drink of the complimentary mango kombucha, to my surprise it was very flat.  I said: this is flat.  The guy that had just completed filling my bottle explained that something went wrong with that batch,, and looked me straight in my eyes and said that the one that is in the bottle has more carbon, and if you let it sit a bit it will become even more carbonated.    This was totally false.  It was the exact same as the complimentary drink. When I took the bottle home, I let it sit as he suggested and it never developed carbonation.

This was a huge disappointment, because I did not get the same product as my first visit, and that the guy was not accurate in his statement that it will start to carbonate and that the glass that they served me was different from in the bottle.   I will be...

Wow, Komana, wow! This is the first and definitely not the last time I will be here. Today was the second day of their grand opening, and I loved the place as soon as I stepped in. Komana brews their kombucha on site with sporting tanks in the back and several high and low top tables in the front.

There is a wrap around bar with several high chairs and one spot to order. The line was a little long, but it was worth the wait as I had to decide on what flavor I wanted to try. Awesome thing was I got to try the peach and strawberry lemonade hibiscus. Both were very refreshing, but there was something about the peach that I loved, so I went with a sixteen ounce pour.

The place was packed, so I managed to grab a seat at their community couch. The couch was comfy and sported games all from my childhood, including ice blocks and jenga! It was cool to read, and people watch.

I really love their no tipping model and all of their non alcoholic options. Literally their is NO option to leave a tip when you pay, and their prices are still amazing! They pay their staff a liveable wage, which is a nice and welcome change! For those that want their drink 21+, they have Prosecco, and they have beer as well.

Five stars for me for their service, being family friendly, and...

Talk about a local inclusive location! The owners are the sweetest, most welcoming people I have ever come across at a brewery. We chatted with them for quite a while about the brewery, Hawaii, their travels, and their vision for the brewery. It’s so bright and airy and the beer and kombucha are great. The kombucha is the best I’ve ever had - not funky at all. I tried the guava, oolong, and koffucha. The guava was perfect for a hot summer day, the oolong was refreshing, and the koffucha had cold brew coffee vibes. My husband had a few of the beers and especially liked the mango one. They have some games to play, and a bunch of activities going on every night of the week. They’re really trying to make this a local communal spot and you can tell it’s going to turn out just that way with every tubing they have going on. We’re really looking forward to their cultural event nights! Will most definitely back… maybe...

Been here a few times and every time the beer selection is fantastic. The beer quality and flavor is excellent and the kombucha options are the best I’ve found. Can’t say enough about the quality of the beverages. Even their hard seltzer is the best I’ve had and I can’t stand commercial seltzers. The entire staff and owners are a joy to talk with and they will happily help any budding brewers with helpful hints about various types of fermentation. The staff is friendly, seems thrilled to work there (they pay a living wage), and they are just decent, pleasant people to interact with. The place always seems to have some kind of event going on in the evenings whether it’s live music, karaoke or something random but fun. Always a great time with great drinks and a fun atmosphere.
